Water weight, food allergies and sensitivities, variations in sodium intake...
When starting a new exercise program, you'll probably gain a bit, due to water weight. To avoid it, you need to drink more water. Healing muscles require water, so they will hold on to water while they need it. Sodium can cause you to retain water as well. And if you have food allergies or sensitivities that can cause water retention too.

Mostly, it all boils down to water retention on a day to day basis.

don't weigh everyday, it will drive you crazy.

Weight once a week, same day, same time.
