Just been kind of curious~ I know a lot of artist are heavier set people, like myself. Of course I know there are skinnier ones! xD Just, Great pictures usually take anywhere from 2-6 hours sitting down and So a lot of us aren't as active as we should be. I'm changing that now making time for my art, writing and work~ Just wondering if there were if so I'd love to see your work~ :3

    Hi there! I'm an Art Director/Print Designer......so that probably doesn't meet your criteria =) Always nice to meet creative people though, and your work is cool. Anime inspiration?

    Some of the color palettes you're using remind me a bit of Audrey Kawasaki. I looooove her. Total girl crush on that lady.

    As a hobbyist-I'm a decorative painter. Furniture, murals, canvas etc. I use acrylic paint. If I have time, I'm thinking about taking water colors painting course.

    At the bottom of each page you can click on "older posts" and see more. It's fast to scroll down, so if you go back a few pages you'll see more. You can click on these and see bigger pics too I think.

    As for being too sedentary while making art, yes, that happens to me. But I use art also as a way to control pain when I have it. So, it serves me well! At other times it is so easy to get deep into my right brain and not want to move out of it, and before I know it a lot of time has passed.

    Graphic designer here. So I guess that makes me sort of like an artist who insists on getting paid before creating something. :wink:

    Thanks. I like your stuff too. My kids are fascinated with duct tape cause they saw this kid on a PBS promo making all kinds of stuff out of it. I'm going to come back to this thread later so I can show them your artwork.

    I used to have a studio and shows but now I have now place to work. Don't have any small sized pictures either. Hoping to get back to it. I am almost an empty nester.

    Art has always been one of my favourite hobbies. I used to want to turn it into a career, but ended up stumbling into a different creative career instead in between art jobs, so...now I just do it for fun.

    Do any of you have shops on Etsy? My shop is currently taking a backseat to my health and MFP.

    @ Kehnj - thanks! I love it - it's bright and fun, not very messy.
    @ swhitney2 - Awesome! I've made all kinds of things - it's such a fun hobby especially since there really is no limit to what you can make. Super kid-friendly!
