Breast feeding and hungry ALL THE TIME!!

My son is 9 months old and I am still eating like I was when my milk came in!
I'm eating every 2 hours, (which I know is good) but in some instances I am still hungry in between those 2 hours.
I know to keep it healthy but it gets hard I feel like I'm eating the same thing all the time and I am getting bored and have a hard time staying on track when I am hungry THIS much.
Any tips/suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

As long as you're reaching for healthy, whole foods, have at! Don't forget, your baby takes more as s/he grows. Mother other night is that if you don'tgetmuch sleep you may feel hungry when really what you needs to rest. Drink lots of water too! Happy nursing!0

To curve your satiety, aim for high fiber fruits and vegetables mixed with sources of healthy fat and proteins such as nuts, Greek yogurt, hummus, etc.
Fat is the biggest decider of satiety with fiber shortly behind. Carb rich snacks will drive a huge release of insulin leaving you only hungrier.0 -
its important to get enough nutrients while you are nursing so eat when you are hungry.. I nursed my daughter until she was just a little over 2yrs old and I had a hefty appetite the entire time
just make good choices fruit, veggies, nuts, whole grains, you know the deal
. Also are you counting nursing into your calories burned... if not you should

Make sure you are accounting for the additional caloric requirements of breast-feeding (300-500 calories per day). That could definitely explain the hunger! You may need to use the custom goals feature of the site to ensure your goals are set properly. Hope this is helpful. My son is 9 months old and I am still eating like I was when my milk came in!

^^^^ ditto!! Are you still EBF, or have you added solid foods? If he's eating food as well you're probably okay giving yourself 300 extra calories/day, if not you definitely need 500.0 -
My sister said that she had to up her proteins and fats a lot to keep herself satiated while breastfeeding when her son was about that age.0

You guys are awesome! Thank you for all the tips!
My son is eating solid foods but still eats off me every 2-3 hours SOMETIMES will do a 5 hour stretch at night!
He is allergic to dairy and has a soy sensitivity so I find it hard to get protein in anything but chicken or eggs? Anything else I could eat for high protein? (I'm new at this whole eating healthy and knowing about nutrition.)
Thanks again!

Beef is high. Fish... tuna is good but no more than 1 can a week for you right now. You'd want to look up the mercury ratings for fish before you make your choices and the just make sure you mix it up. I buy a lot of frozen cooked shrimp to throw into a quick stir fry.
You can find non-dairy, non-soy protein powders but they're obscure. I did find one that was made from hemp, but it had a weird taste. Is he allergic to lactose or to casein?0 -

Casein. If I eat it at all he gets a tummy ache and an awful rash all over his face
