Allright guys,

I'm confused,
I LOVE running..and I wont give it up, however that is all i'm doing at the gym atm. I am changing speed/mileage daily however I want to incorporate other exericses e.g bike, stepper, weights.

I want to lose 10 pounds and be more toned... take a look at my pics and diary and let me know what I should be doing at the gym/eating more of..

I also enjoy calorie burning so i can eat more so anything that burns a high amount of cals!

For me, the elliptical machine works best. Running seems great when you're very young (as you are now!) but when you get a little older your knees and ankles may regret all the impact. I also find that some basic weights really help raise my metabolism for a longer time. Working with ropes (the heavy ones that lie on the floor and you wave up and down with your arms) is also a fantastic workout. Enjoy! :)

Lift some weights! Take a look at my diary!! xx
  • Weight/resistance/strength training is integral to changing your body constitution - shape.
A personal trainer is a great way to go if you can afford it, but most gyms will have staff that can help you out in learning the weigh machines and exercises.
