I should measure my testos levels - good idea. Well what is cool is since it's missing I don't miss it - like craving on junk food
What sux will be the day I'll need to work on my legacy, what will I say to the mom ? :indifferent:
At 5-6% you ARE going to have this problem, no way around that.0 -
ok, bro your answer does make perfect senseScienceDaily (Aug. 5, 2008) — Genes that control percentage of body fat are also responsible for circulating levels of testosterone in men, research published in a recent edition of Clinical Endocrinology shows.

First of all, not many people on here are going to be able to relate to this. Going from obese to normal weight -->increase in libido. Going from normal to ripped --->possible decrease in libido.
Looking at your photos, you're around 8% bodyfat at most. Having that low bodfat can decrease testosterone output for some males. Also, being in a calorie deficit for a long period of time can mess with your testosterone production. Getting as ripped as you are is no different than starving to death, as far as your body is concerned. Your body isn't going to put many resources into reproduction when it thinks it's starving to death.
I personally dealt with this as well. It's not a loss in sexual function, more like a decrease interest. The good news is, when you raise calories, your libido will come back. It looks like you're bulking now, and you're keeping your fat intake high, so you're doing well. Speaking from personal expereince, give it a few weeks and you'll be fine.
Yeah, 12% is about right for athletic performance. Some people have the genetics to be leaner without any problems, but 12% is right for the average male.
I personally want to sit at about 10%. I don't care much about athletic performance, but I do appreciate morning wood.0 -
I find this interesting. This could explain the abundance of creepers. Maybe they need to start bulking up. Then the lower libido is actually the norm. hmmm.0

5-6% is what bodybuilders are at for contests. Talk to any bodybuilders that has dieted for a contest, they'll tell you that libido is almost non-existent at that point.0 -
If you do not already...start taking multi-vitamins..it might be a vitamin deficiency ...give it a month...if it does not come back it is either a mental or hormone problem..both of which you should go see a dr. to fix. It happens to a lot more of people then you think
GOOD LUCK!!0 -

Are you sure you're getting enough calories, because your body could be depleted of its necessary energy thus leading to low sex drive. If you are eating enough, then maybe you have low testosterone and you might need replacement shots (sorry tmi) :blushing:0
-
This all depends on what you are eating.
Under eating combined with a low fat and low cholesterol intake will definitely hamper your libido heavily.
Combine that with the loss of minerals from under eating such as zinc, magnesium and selenium, which all aid in male hormone production, and you have a powerful libido poison recipe.
Eat more whole eggs, cod liver oil, free range grass fed butter, and Brazil nuts and other nutritionally dense food and it should help.0 -

HRT is not a road he likely wants to go down unless it's absolutely necessary0 -
Dang juicy011 I won't go on HRT for that ahah - Maybe watching cheap porn on the internet instead of logging what goes through my mouth might help - no wonder why it's gone0
-
I can totally relate to this... I would say its since I started weight training....its nice to know its not just me!
mine is lower since I've started losing weight - I'm putting it down to not having a lot of energy because i'm eating less.. I have more of a drive when I'm on a spike day heh0
