So I need to lose another stone in 3 Months, I know it's do-able but I've had no scale movement in the last 3 weeks. i know that my diary suggests I need to eat more as I'm also exercising but I just find it so damn hard to eat! Usually it's just me I have to cook for as my partner works a lot and my toddler has his own menu, I can never be bothered to just cook for myself. I understand I need to up my calorie intake but I can never think of what I can eat to do this, I've never been a huge eater which is why I probably stumble and maintain weight! Is there anything healthy that can help me up my calorie intake a day that's simple and just for one?!

  • I would say a bigger breakfast maybe. Something like some granola or oatmeal. Maybe add an additional snack somewhere thoughout the day. You are not too far off. That would put you a bit closer.
  • I have a toddler right now too. Maybe (depending on how old your child is and what food they are able to eat) you can make healthy meals that you both can enjoy. I know it is helping me out and helping ensure good eating habits for my girl as well. Good luck!

The only thing my toddler will eat which I like and consider healthy is lentil soup and pasta. I just don't like eating pasta into the evening and soup can get a tad dire all the time lol

My son is only 8 months old and I was finding it so hard to eat during the day before my husband came home from work. Someone reminded me about meal replacement shakes. They would never be my first choice and if I have the option I go for a healthy meal instead, like if he goes down for a nap early or something. But the ones I get are filling, taste great and give about a third of your recommended nutrient intake. I always sit at the table with my son when he eats. Meal times are no phone, no computer, no TV time, it's time for family I want this ingrained early on, so I use this time for a healthy snack that I don't have to cook, 15 almonds, or 10 and a whole grain cracker, I make pico de gallo once every now and then, all fresh vegies, I can snack on that with whole grain pita chips. I portion out my snack and log it then I sit down with Ronan and give him a bite of veggies then I take a bite. It also helps teaching him to chew his food instead of inhaling it - he gets that from his dad.
