Pack up everything and move to Germany
or open a shelter for stray cats.0 -

I have no clue. If someone gave me $10,000 my practical nature would have a very hard time getting over the possibilities for helping my family with it. I guess if I *HAD* to be selfish, and since this is totally never going to happen...
A new face? A tummy tuck?
I really don't think I would ever want to get plastic surgery, but those are the only things that come to mind - I would love a fuller mouth, a more narrow nose, and a less pointy chin (I really hate my face), and the little bit of loose skin on my tummy would be nice if it went away.
Oh, Lasik - I would probably want Lasik.0 -
Tummy tuck & breast lift. Lots of loose skin hanging around here! Yucky!0
-
I'd redo my sewing room.
Gorgeous fabrics, new paint, maybe knock down a wall and take over hubby's man cave.0 -
Pay off credit card (3K...yikes!)
I would use the balance towards the rest of my car loan...though it wouldn't cover it completely.
Boring I know...but being debt-free rocks.0 -
A vacation somewhere really far or a new car.0
-
I'd find somewhere with white sands, blue water, and beachside butler service...have a few spa treatments....eat a few fancy meals....swim with the dolphins...0
-
Mid-range machine gun...
Ammunition.
Range trip.0 -
I don't even know where to begin..........a swanky apartment somewhere.........pay off my credit card........then put my cellphone bill in my name again..........and then a trip to somewhere I've never been or to either of the following places: Maui, Germany, Nebraska, Colorado, New York and see as many broadway shows as humanly possible, or Vegas......
Or maybe I would just get a dog, keep some money to pay for said dog, and then give the rest to charities that really need the cash.0 -
I'd buy a coke, then build a model fort out of the rest and burn it when it was finished.0
-
Based on the open relationship thread, I'd open a swinger's club and pay the membership for all the MFPeeps that wanted one:drinker: :drinker: .... wait, is that selfish???
Travel to China or Japan or Russia....Wait, is taking someone else allowed?

I'm surprised how much some people think you could do with $10,000 dollars...
I want extra rooms in the loft, but $10,000 wouldn't go far, so...
A proper holiday to Japan where we went to all the islands and not just where my DH is from and I could afford to buy as much manga as I wanted and the excess baggage costs to get that manga home, and some lessons with my favourite Japanese teacher.0 -

I would buy the paint and few decorating items I have left to get for my house. Then I would use the rest to take a vacation to meet some of the most incredible women who have been in my life for the past 4 years and have supported me through 2 babies and a divorce. (Long story)0
-
A very nice vacation or Vegas Baby because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!!!0
-
My initial response was going to be home/car repair or towards my daughter's future education but you noted that it had to be selfish. Um...tummy tuck likely. All the extra skin from a huge pregnancy - would be nice to have it gone.0
-
I'd probably put it towards my savings for a new house. Although I'd put some aside for a trip to Scotland and Ireland for my honeymoon.0
-
Buy a motorcycle.0
-
A couple of new snowboards, trip to The Netherlands, and a new wardrobe.0
-
Take a vacation to Ireland... spend it all on booze with a hot Irish man.
THIS!!! ^^^^^0 -
If assuming that "no bills" means "no loan payments," I have to go with paying for a honeymoon. Business class airfare to Edinburgh (~6000), stay at a spectacular hotel with a castle view for six nights (~1650), a personalized ancestral tour of the highlands for my beloved (1000), the rest spending cash for goodies and food. You can't tell me that isn't selfish despite the tour.0
-
It'd be the first installment for an inground pool in my backyard.0
-
A down payment on a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in gun metal silver0

I would use it to help me move to New York this summer.0
