A salad with a little bit of lite dressing. And work out so you can get some calories back.0

Please don't try and starve for the rest of the day, because even though you went to McDonald's, your body still needs nutrition.
Go ahead and eat your normal number of meals, make them as healthy and low cal as possible, and remember that tomorrow you get a fresh start!
^^^This is what I have done in the past. Eat some nutrition dense calories (no more empty ones today) and start again tomorrow.0 -
I agree completely, 500 calories allow for a lot of food. Heck 4 oz's of chicken breast is only 120, you can pair that with a nice side salad, vegetables, even a serving of brown rice.0

98% fat free ground turkey burger..(no bun)0

Go out for a very fast walk...walk off your guilt so to speak...then eat dinner.0

i would say pass on the mcdonalds and make a breakfast at home. i usually do:
water
light and fit yogurt=80 calories
fiber one cereal=60 calories
2 egg whites=60 calories
that is a great breakfast and keeps you full for only 200 calories! =D0 -
I agree with working out. In my distant past I was successful at what you are trying to do but I was miserable and hungry. I suggest doing some cardio and earning yourself a couple hundred extra calories. Also, 551 calories is easy to work with if you like fruits, veggies, and lean meats line chicken, turkey, and fish. Tilapia and other white fish gets you a large portion for just a couple hundred calories. Fiber dense veggies like broccoli are low in calories but keep you fuller longer. Lastly, air popped popcorn with no salt or butter fills your tummy without using a lot of calories.
As far as no-calorie foods go, there aren't any. And though McDonald's isn't the best choice for a diet, don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow is a new day0 -
no calorie food....!? really!?
SERIOUSLY! wtf?!?!
food |foōd|
noun
any nutritious substance that people or animals eat or drink, or that plants absorb, in order to maintain life and grow
Can you live off of something with no calories? or grow? no. Food = calories. Just sayin.0 -
Dust, Anybody? no? Dust (sorry only british people will understand lol , little britian)

spinach. celery. carrots. pickle?0
-
soup - make yourself, not a tin or packet.
my faves are japanese chicken noodle (with those shiritake noodles - 6cals per 100g), red pepper, chilli & tomato or butternutsquash.
i cheat and use a stockcube if i'm in a hurry though and they're a bit high in sodium.0 -
Bowl of cereal with some fruit - that's my plan for tonight after pigging out on sushi0

actually if you eat celery it takes more calories to digest it than the actual celery, so your actually losing calories when you eat it. just sayin0

i'd rather eat 1 actual egg with the same calories than 2 whites - why remove the good bit just to save yourself from eating good 'fat'
and a mcdonalds breakfast once in a while won't do you any harm - everything in moderation.0 -
Vegetables only work as fillers if you pair them with protein and a touch of fat. Same goes with water. If I ate nothing but raw vegetables, I'd be more hungry afterwards than before.
The idea that there are no calorie foods is actually something of a myth. The afore-listed foods actually do have calories. Some are very, very low in calories, but most have a fair bit more than you'd expect.0 -

Chilli lentil, bean and vegetable stew

Let's talk about what's in fruits and veggies. Carbs mostly, right? Please remember that carbs/sugar = calories. These are healthy foods, and LOW in calories, but of course they're not calorie free, and linking to some website (called Dr. Granny, no less) doesn't make them calorie free. Please, please think a little/do your own research before passing on bad information for others to believe.0 -
Okay so I was bad and ate McDonald's for breakfast. I only have 551 calories left to eat for the day. Anyone have any ideas for a small or no calories meal?
Thanks bunches!
^^^This!
Nothing wrong with eating McDs as long as it fits into your macronutrients!
Chances are you under eat too much!0 -
Like steamed vegetables with soy and honey sauce.
The honey's the most high in calorie thing about it but you only need the tiniest bit otherwise it's overpowering.0 -
Salads with no dressing! Just veggies... lol (Sounds boring but it's low in calories and healthy..)0
-
Egg white scramble with veggies
Also vegetable soup, steamed veggies, canned tuna.
OH and prawns! only 70 cal per 100g!0 -
Yep! Looked at the diary.
You dont eat enough to properly lose weight.
Boost cals to 1600-1800!
Do a 90/10 rule!
Its easy!
90% unprocessed whole foods!
10% Junk!0 -
Eat lots of veges, they don't have a lot of calories, they're filling & good for you.
Whatever you do, don't starve yourself. And don't punish yourself for eating lots of McD's. Tomorrow's another day!0 -
I stopped worrying about daily calorie goals ages ago, I only really focus on the overall deficit. Your body doesn't reset overnight, you can always exercise it off, or eat a little bit less tomorrow!0
