You should eat breakfast within the first hour after you wake up. I eat at home (but I work from home) and if I have to go out - I make a protein shake and take it with me.0

I usually eat within an hour of getting up as well. I used to eat at work but now I fix my shake and eat on the way to work.0

On weekdays I eat breakfast usually about half an hour after I get up. On weekends sometimes I don't eat breakfast until a few hours after I wake up. I eat it at home.0

Depends! Sometimes I wake up hungry and want to eat my pillow before getting out of bed. Today I didn't eat until 10am. I try to do it based on how hungry I am and what my morning looks like.0

I wake up at 5:30-6:00 and eat at 8:30 at work!0

Within twenty minutes, or else I feel horribly nauseous. I either eat at home or I eat something like a banana or breakfast bar in the car.0

Usually grap a protien bar/shake on the way to work. It isn't much, but its enough to get me going and bcs of the protien I'm usually good up to lunch, but I do keep raisins and nuts in my dexk for emergencies. :happy:0

About an hour and a half after waking up, at work. It's usually bentoed the night before. I honestly do not have time to eat in the morning at home. I really wish I could push my body clock back 30 minutes so I could wake up earlier. Just not happening.0

That's me! I don't know if it is "bad" or "good" but that is the only way that works for me....I have been known to make my own "breakfast sandwich" and eat it between home and work---BUT I make sure to eat it slowly, enjoy it, and not just cram it down my throat! On the weekend I adjust how I use my calories and we enjoy nice family breakfasts together, usually a bit later.0 -
I usually eat it pretty soon after waking up because I'm ravenous.0

Remember: Break-the-fast. Breakfast looks like what YOU need it to but its more important to break the fast. Carbohydrates nourish your nervous system and your brain. Your body has been using energy to keep you alive so its important to get it refueled. The brain needs about 20 grams of glucose at all times to work at optimum performance. That is about the same as a banana. Longer more sustained energy will be obtained from low glycemic foods so choose breakfast with fiber if you want it to last.0

Both. When I'm on my idea schedule, I work out in the morning. So, I eat 100-150 calories when I wake up. By the time I get to the gym that's settled enough in my stomach, and gets me through my workout. Then when I get to work, I'll probably have second breakfast, of a similar calories amount, with coffee.0

um, lately i've been waiting til around 10 but i think i'm goign to start having a shake at like 730ish and then fruit around 10 before lunch... hoping that helps me not be so ravenous by lunch.0

Generally within 30 to 60 minutes of waking up. If I am crawling out of bed to go out for a run or do a class at the gym sometimes I will eat a bagel thin with peanut butter or a power bar right away so I have something in my body for energy. I used to either eat in the car on the way to work or at work, but once I started trying to lose weight I stopped doing that most of the time and would eat before I left and have a small snack at 10:00 or so at work!0

Breakfast is the only reason I get out of bed. It's the first thing I do in the morning.0

Wake up, shower, make my breakfast ....if I wait too long I feel nauseous......0

Really? Why SHOULD I?0 -
after my workout- so anywhere fom :45 to 1:15 after I wake up- unless I do a long run before work- then I get to work early and eat the food I have stashed there. usually long-run-recovery-friendly foods. I keep greek yogurt and honey, bananas, hummus and triscuits, raisins and nuts, sunflower seeds and whole wheat bagels at work. Also im lucky enough to have a fruit and juice vending machine there.0

Usually within a half hour. Sometimes an hour but that's pretty rare. My stomach is usually growling the minute my feet hit the floor. Shut off the alarm, go start the coffee, bathroom, brush teeth, wait for coffee, get first couple sips of coffee and then start breakfast. Yes I manage to get all that done in about 30 minutes!0
