Macro ratios?

So MFP set me to something like 50/15/35 (carbs, protein, fats) and I changed it to 55/20/25. I've been looking into differing opinions on macros, proteins in particular, and a lot of people are saying about a gram per pound of LBW, thing is I've seen that that level is for bodybuilders and weight-training. That's not me. And fitting in 108 grams of protein is bloody tough. Some sources say that 50-80g a day is about right for an average woman, and others say that for a regular exerciser but otherwise quite sedentary life it should be 0.60ish grams of protein per pound LBW.
I mean, there are so many differing theories and formulas out there, for goodness' sake. I'm just a 26 year old woman looking to tone up, maybe shed a few more pounds and generally alleviate as much of my mental issues as I can with limitations through a decent food and exercise regime. I already lost 10 stone over the last 7 or so years due to many things, one of them a fear of food and general self-hatred. Now I'm trying to obsess the RIGHT way, I guess, seeing that I can't stop altogether.
Any input from actual human beings would be appreciated.

It also depends on your particular metabolism. I lose weight better with a lower carb ratio so I try to keep it at 40/30/30...All good fats and lean protens.0

The higher protein is for muscle retention and satiety!
If you arent taking in the protein youll need higher fats or carbs.
My recommendation is a Protein/Fat 30% each.
This sets the stage for a good fat loss environment while maintaining or even gaining lean mass.0 -
this is way awesome!!! ^^^^^0 -
Nice, thank you for the link. Looks like my goals are about right at 50/25/250
