Hello :) I am going out to a family dinner tonight at Red Robin for a birthday and am just wondering if anyone can recommend healthier options that I can eat there? Any ideas would be much appreciated as their website isn't very helpful with that. Thanks!

The chicken caprese is your best bet on the menu but it's still pushing 900 calories. Red robin is delicious but it's a tough one.

    Get a chicken sandwich

Disclaimer: Personally, I would never pass up one of their burgers

Went a couple weeks ago and got the grilled chicken classic or something like that. Not a big fan of the place! Replaced Mayo with bbq sauce and skipped the fries altogether. Still ended up being around 550 cal sandwich (white roll, 6oz chicken, slice of full fat cheese, bbq sauce & bacon slices) FYI keep the bacon & drop the fries - the bacon does make the sandwich better.

Chicken sandwich without mayo and melon slices for the side should fit into just about anyone's goals. If you have more calories to spend, you could get a burger. They will happily modify (leave off sauces and such) to meet your needs. The nutrition calculator on their website is quite helpful.

I always get the breaded chicken. There's no hope once I set foot in that door. Good luck, though.

There's a nutrition calculator at the bottom of the page here:

Simple grilled chicken and the garden burger are probably the best options. Salmon sandwich, turkey burger and "keep it simple" regular burger are under 600 too. Looks like they should have some steamed veg available as a side.

If you're going to Red Robin, you might as well eat a burger. They are delicious.
