Would having a 6" wrist be considered large frame? According to the charts it is, but when I weigh anything over 150, I look heavy...so now I don't know? Silly question, I know, but one I would be interested in knowing (based on all of your experience).0

I'm 5'10. I started at 306 and I'm currently 245.8. GW about 175, give or take - I'll wait and see when I get there if I want to keep going or stop. Congrats to the rest of you on your success!

I'm 5'9" and currently 176. Goal is 150-155. I have a bigger frame and there was a time that I was in the low 140's, which felt and looked unhealthy for me.0

I am about 5'10. I weigh 205 now according to the scale this AM. I think I looked the best at about 175-180. People said I started to look sick and skinny when I weighed less than that. I have a large frame also. My goal size is a size 8-10. I am currently a loose size 14.0

I'm 5'9" and currently weigh 139- my original goal was 135 and know 4 more lbs will not get me where I want to look. I've changed my goal to 130 and plan on super toning the areas I still think need work. I started out at 155 jan. 1st, and have been kicking but since- I love MFP. I was 162.5 back in april of last year and got down to 147- then with hectic schedule and falling back into old ways went back up to 155. I plan on keepig it off for good this time!!!! I want to look good with and without clothes on!0

6ft and current weight is 225. Goal...170 I think. We'll see WHEN I get there.
Great seeing taller people's numbers. I feel quite self conscious when I hear shorter people's numbers. lol0 -

You have to think about what looks good on YOU! I know anything less than 170 wouldn't look good on me, so I def won't aim for it. However, others may have different perspective on that and their body.0 -
5'11 and currently 208.4...started at 246...aiming for 170 and see where I am at0

GW 180.................FOR NOW
I lost 50lbs when I was younger and I called into the principal's office because they thought I had an eating disorder. I think that was at 135-140. But I also was tested and I have alot of muscle mass already, almost like I'm really toned underneath the layers of fat. So we shall see at 180. I'm between a size 12-14 now and have large large large boobs. That I'd rather not lose all of! I like some curves!0 -
Sounds similar to me, I'm 5'9, started at 322 but I'm currently at 276 and still have a ways to go. I think I'd be happy at 160-170.5'9, started at 307, currently around 230, goal between 145-165. I'll have to find my happy place!0

Almost 5"11..my current weight is 182..goal weight is about 150 but honestly the number isnt my concern, I just want to be healthy, and sexy!!!!!!! When I like what I see and how I feel I will be content! But I plan to aware of my nutrition the rest of my life.0

I am 5' 9 and currently weigh 130-133 (I am at goal)! I started this journey almost a year ago (End of April 2011) @ 198 lbs!0

Can I suggest that you aim (for your first goal) for 24 lbs first? 10% of your starting body weight is usually a good goal to start out with. Aiming for 200 is nice, but that's almost 20%, which is a good secondary or terciary goal The reason I say that is because the first 10% is a lot easier to lose (with diet and exercise) than the 10-20 lbs afterwards, so if you aim for 200, and you to about 220 and start plateauing, it might be more discouraging than if you aim for 218 in the first place.0

5'9ish current weight 246lbs
Short term GW 200lbs
Long term GW 160lbs
I also have a large build and at my smallest I weighed 177lbs. I'm now wanting to pass that weight and get down to 160lbs. I guess I will stop when I feel good about myself again.0 -
5'8' -9" and currently 210 goal is 180. Overweight my whole life and over 300lbs at one point.0

I'm 5'9" and "big boned"... heavy bones and muscles. I'm 165 now, looking at 150 as a goal but I'm going to go from losing 1.5-2 pounds a week to 1 pound a week when I hit 160. I've come down from 210 in the past 2 years and feel a lot better... still working on the extra flab on my belly and thighs though.0

Wow!! I'm 5'9 and I currently weigh 192 but you would never know it!! I want to get to 175-180. I have a muscular build and I'm currently a size 12. There's no way I could or would ever get to 150 lbs because that would be wayyyyy too small for me!!! I love this post because it just proves that people of the same height and weight can definitely look totally different!! LOL0

5'11", 180 and I'm there....but I have a large frame:)0
