Congratulations! I'm new to this too. Just know that even though you may feel you have a long way to go, you will be so happy. And when you finally start seeing/feeling the difference, you cannot even imagine the elation and confirmation that your decision to lose weight was such a good choice.0 -

Hi there, I am new to this site, but not new to trying to eat right and exercise and get healthy!! But I am in the process of a whole change of life, I am 42 years old, I have been on Chantix for 2 weeks and 1 week of no smoking and going strong. I weigh 215lbs and I am 5ft8in tall, my ultimate goal is to get to 165lbs. My first goal is to get under 200lbs, and go with small goals to start, I am a size 16 the lowest I've been in as an adult is a 10 , so I wanna get back there and lower, I have joined the gym in my area and intend on going 5 days per week, today I worked out for 90 min with concentration on cardio, as you have to lose the fat before you can start building the muscle I wish you all luck and feel free to ad me as I can also use motivation and other ideas are always welcome, Good luck and keep with it , remember you are worth it !!0

Prestonsnana - I quit smoking just over a month ago using the patch. Have replaced cigarettes with exercise and have been trying to eat well. I would love to team up with another "quitter" for encouragement and story swapping! Feel free to friend me0
