Hi! My fellow MFP'ers.:flowerforyou: I just wanted to ask all you experts on your fitness and nutrition if what I am eating is right or is there anything I need to change with my diet. I am 167lbs and am5'4" tall. I set my goal to 1600 calories per my BMR calculations( Thanks to one you guys who gave the details of how to do it, sorry can't remember your name). I work out at least 30mins per day and am doing Zumba twice week and 30DS. My scale is stuck and refuses to move and I am completely frustrated. Please correct me if I am doing anything wrong. Suggestions please!!

Hi! I looked at your food journal and noticed that your sugar and fat intake is pretty high. So, i would start including more fresh veg and fruit and I would also cut out the coffee. I know people say they can't live without their morning coffee but trust me you can. If I can, you can! If you do those things I think you will start to see a change. I really think it is just a matter of tweaking your diet.0

I thought I did eat good fat and so was not so worried about it. I ate avocado and almonds which consumed most of my fat calories. I have just 1 cup of coffee everyday and that is it. I CANNOT give that up. I don't drink soda's or juices, when I say I drink 10cups of water it is only water.0

Good fat is still fat and needs to be eaten in moderation. For quite a while I was on a raw food diet. fresh fruit, veg, nuts and seeds and I wasn't losing any weight and continued to get advice stating that all the nuts, seeds and avocados were ok to eat but it isn't. I was eating way to much fat. Plus nuts, seeds, and avos have lots of calories. I'm not saying to cut them out because we need those good fats but you need to be mindful of how much you are eating. If you feel that you can't give up the coffee then that's fine just make sure you are staying hydrated. Good luck on your journey!0
