Been very sick with a stomach virus for three days and have lost three pounds. Still suffering from it and am still not eating much.

My worry is that my body is in starvation mode and wondered if anybody had any advice on how to resume eating and avoid the "gain it all back plus more" that usually happens when weight is lost in such a way.

    It won't happen.

Unless you starting consuming like 5000 calories for like 2 weeks or something. What you lost is water weight.

    Hey GIrl,

Try to just slowly eat your calories back that you are alloted and exercise. It may work. But I understand what your saying.

Unless you go crazy eating, you should be able to maintain the losses. It is mostly water that you would have lost, maybe a little muscle. So just ease yourself back into your routine, and you should be fine!
