What time do you eat dinner?

Dinner at 4:30 on week days and 5 on weekends. Also get a light snack like an apple around 7. I always wake up hungry in the morning and if I don't eat a snack before bed I get really bad heart burn that wakes me up in the middle of the night.0

When you eat mattering is a myth. Calories in, calories out is what matters.
I usually eat around 8pm.
^^^This^^^ I eat when I am hungry.0 -
I often eat dinner at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. because I take night classes for grad school that end at 9:00 p.m. The I commute, and cook. I also work until 6:00 p.m. on non-school days and it takes an hour to get home. Still lost 20 lbs. Pretty sure time doesn't matter.0

I read a really interesting article that completely blew away the myth of eating late at night and the ultimate message was simply:
"the golden rule to losing weight: create a calories deficit. You need to burn more calories than you take in. Your weight loss is based on the size of your calorie deficit, not eating at night"
I go by this and pretty much eat dinner when I'm hungry and when both my husband and I get back in from work which is usually any time between 6:30pm and 9:00pm...
Just find whatever works for you and your lifestylegood luck!! Vx

Usually around 6, is when I try to feed my kids, but when I hit the gym after work we sometimes don't eat until 7ish. I hate eating late.0

It depends on what my schedule is for that day. On days I go to the gym right after work then we eat around 6, if it's a day where I go home 1st then to the gym then around 8. I try to make sure dinner is within 2 hours of my workout, a recommendation from my trainer. Weekends are normally rest days for me and we usually eat around 6.0

Just don't ever feed yourself after midnight! *sigh* ... thinking about poor Gizmo ...0

Between 4-9pm. I haven't had a problem with it yet...0

Your schedule sounds a lot like mine!0 -
Dinner's usually 6-8pm in my house, though on the weekdays if I get home late from work, they'd have eaten without me as my little brother and sister need to be in bed because of school the next morning. I think it's all a myth though, I mean I've suffered with anorexia since I was six years old, and contrary to belief anorexics do eat, I have always eaten even just half an hour before going to bed. Probably not the best example but I was still severely underweight even though I ate late at night.

When i was younger, I made a rule that my cut-off time was 5 hours before bed. But as I get older, I realize that's getting impossible. I'm too busy and hungry to do that!0

Typically anywhere from 9:30pm to 11:30 pm.
I'm the same.
I usually don't get home from work and gym until around 8:30pm...so, by the time I actually get to eat, it's really late...I like to cook fresh most nights and I enjoy a glass of wine before dinner most nights.
It hasn't stopped me from losing weight so it can't be that bad, I think it is a myth.0 -
Usually it's about 6:00pm because my daughter has a 7:30pm bedtime, but on gym nights I have two dinners...6pm (pre workout fuel) and 8:30pm (post workout replenishment and recovery).0
-
I work second shift, so I work late and sleep late.
Dinner is usually after I get home from work - so around 11:30pm. On days I don't work, dinner is usually around 9pm. The only time I eat earlier is if we go to someone else's house for dinner (and even then.. it will probably be my "lunch" and I'll eat again before bed).0 -
I eat when I'm hungry, which is usually between 6 and 8. I make dinner around 5 or 6, but don't usually eat it right away because I'm not hungry.0

Between 4 and 7 is what I have my dinners scheduled at. Most of the time it happens around 5 or 6pm.0

I would prefer to eat around 6, but my boyfriend always prefers after 7. Drives me nuts.0
-
I usually try to eat dinner around 6pm...no later than 7pm. I hear it isn't good to have a large meal within 2-3hrs before bed. If I do get hungry within that time frame I usually eat something small.0
-
I eat right after my workout and usually is around 7:15 pm.0
