    Name my pug!

    Hello wonderful MFP!

    So my fiance and I are "expecting" our pug puppy on 22 March after lots of waiting and excitement! Thing is, we made this deal.... Since I picked the breed he gets to name the dog. Problem is, he has picked some aaaaawwful names for our puggy!
    I would love to hear from people with any suggested pug names and hopefully I can win him over with a better name than "Glados". (I have nothing against people named 'Glados' by the way, just don't think it works for the dog!)

    She's fawn and gorgeous. Any pug lovers out there feel free to add me too :)

      I had a pug as a boy. Named him Mugsy. Only pet I've ever had. Loved that dog more than life itself.

      They're both cute names! We thought of some good boy names but not girl names... frustrating!

      My friends have a pug named Nick knack and they want another one named Patti Wack. I also like the name Rosie for a girl pug.

      I like person names for dogs :)

      I have three pugs - Mojo, Yoda and Wookie! (all male)

      I know a female pug name Diva - it suits her perfectly! I also have a friend with two female pugs named Mitzu and Lola. They're awfully cute, too! Maybe bring the puppy home for a few days, and wait until her personality reveals the name.

      And just because I like to show off my pugs, these are my boys!

      I'm not good at coming up with names, but my pug is Pugs Magoo. Certainly not name for a lovely girl pug

      None of my dogs were Pugs but their names were and are Katie, Tucker, Cinder, Chelsea, Mandy, Buffy, Hooker, Gypsie, Corkey , Angus and Dagwood in descending order.

      I have a chug (chihuahua mixed with pug) .. She looks exactly like a pug though.. Her name is Izzie!
