Date tonight! (So nervous!)

I have my first date tonight since my boyfriend and I broke up a little over a month ago.

I bought a new outfit, and painted my nails, and am so nervous!

    well I'm happily married. but i know how hard it is to find a spouse that is sane. So you know, single is the next best thing.

    Sooo, last night was pretty great for a first date.
    I was really expecting it to be all awkward, and it so wasn't!

    We went out to dinner at my favorite mexican place, and then to a movie. Very low-key, but very fun. :smile:

    Funniest part of the night was, he drives a truck that is lifted (I live in NC, y'all, it's a beautiful thing :heart: )
    annnd, I was wearing a skirt on the short side (to show off my getting-skinnier legs, haha) and there's no running board.

    Well the truck comes up to my waist almost, so we wound up having to have him kneel, and me climb up on his knee. It was toooo funny. We actually came home between dinner & movie so I could change into shorts and then it was no problem.

    He texted me last night and said he couldn't wait to see me again.

    It was a good night! :bigsmile:

    Righto, Im addicted! This is like a real life soap, let me know how the date goes tomorrow!

    (I love the excitement of dating, the closest I get is pick up pizza at home with hubby and the kids lol)

    I am glad #1 went well. I hope the fact that neither of you felt well didn't have anything to do w/what you had at the restaurant on date #1.

    Now this gives you more time to anticipate rouund 2, and maybe your ticker will say 31 lbs. down by the time you get together again, so it is all good.
