Rum and diet coke is my favorite. Isn't Gin and Tonic supposed to be low in cals?

Regular tonic is not low cal, but they do make diet tonic made with artificial sweeteners.

I drink Vodka and diet pop.

I'm making this tonight but I don't know how it will turn out. Frozen drinks are usually good because it takes longer to drink them.

Sadly, alcohol really has no place in a fitness and weight loss programme, for me at least.

How many calories are in an alcoholic drink?
With a pint of bitter the same as a medium slice of pizza, and a standard size ‘ready to drink’ bottle (‘alcopop’) the same as 100g of cookies, the calories in alcohol soon add up…

Gin or vodka and tonic =126

    Dark rum and coke =142

Medium glass of white wine (175ml) =130

Medium glass of red wine (175ml) =120

    Bottle of wine (white) =555

    Bottle of wine (red) =510

    5% Lager (pint) =240-50

    Cider (pint) =180-250

    Stout (pint) =210

    Bitter/Ale =180-230

    Liqueur (50ml) =100 -170

    Brandy (50ml) =110

    Whiskey (25ml) =55

Mixed drink (Ready to drink) (275ml bottle) =160-228

Tonic is not low cal. Soda water is. Diet tonic is an option. But it you oppose artificial sweeteners, I'd go with gin & soda with lime. I'm not a fan of soda at all, but I'll do it with two lime wedges to save cals.

To each their own, but in my lifestyle change it's everything in moderation.

    straight vodka.

Clear alcohol (vodka, gin). No soda/fruit juice as a mixer. Enjoy a martini :) Or straight vodka works LOL

Exactly! Except I like an orange wedge in mine instead of lime. :) I personally can't mess around with flavored vodka's though (unless it's the SUPER expensive restaurant infused ones). My headache lasts the entire next day.

Vodka+sprite zero+lemon and lime wedges=a naughty limeaid! Mmmmmm!! If you don't want soda or artificial sweetener then just str8 vodka, enjoy!

Also, I've looked up this question before and it said the best bang for your buck as far as calories vs alcohol content, that red wine is best.

Make sure to match your adult beverages with H2O!

I am planning on drinking lots of red wine tonight. Can't wait! Does red wine have have lots of carbs? Probably. Darn it!
