For the past few months I have been taking melatonin to fall asleep. I have worked out everyday this week and have not needed it ONCE ! By 10:30 I am passed out and I sleep amazing ! With the melatonin I would wake up around 4 and stay awake for about an hour.

I love it !

Definitely not a stupid NSV! It's a great one! I'm in another cycle of insomnia myself, been beating it down with exercise fairly well. But I need my melatonin tonight, I'm about dead from exhaustion!

    Congrats to you!

I'm glad for you. but I've read that you shouldn't take melatonin long term. I would read up on it. I have taken it sparingly to help me sleep and I have to say it and a good workout help me out a lot.

It's not stupid at all. Sleep is essential and to get it.. well it's awesome! Since I've started walking (up to 7 miles a day), I sleep a lot better but one downside is that I want to go to bed reallyyy early now. I feel like an old lady. lol

Not stupid. I've slept better since working out, too. Great benefit. I feel better when I wake up, too.

First of all no NSV is stupid!! They are helpful no matter what they are!
Second - i am really glad you posted this - i, too, have to take melatonin to have even a chance of sleeping through most of the night, and am quite curious to see how working out more may effect my sleep issue! so thank you for posting!! :flowerforyou:

I can understand how you feel, before embarking on this journey, i slept poorly and was non motivated and a bit cranky. Now i can sleep through the night and fall asleep almost before i hit the pillow. CONGRATS!!!
