my current weight, never thought i'd see! in high school, i was 135lbs size 9. now i'm 197lbs size 15. depressing. after high school, i weighed 150ish size 11, which was fine with me. i worked in retail since i was 16 and i was always active, running around the place. i worked in the warehouse at an electronic store, so breaking down 20 pallet trucks, lifting tvs and tv stands were my excercises, sorta speak. never was on a diet. when my company shut down, i didn't work for 2 months until i got a job at an office. ever since then, my weight went down hill. my body was so used to being active all the time for 8hrs a day, 5 days a week, it like shut down. according to a few sites, my ideal weight for 5'1 for my age is 135lbs. it seems impossible to get down to that weight. i tried special k diet, weight watchers without the cost, and created my own. i gained back what i lost, 10lbs. i know i need to start drinking a lot of water. i work out with my friend once, twice or three times a week at her house. but i want to get workout dvds, that actually works. once spring is here, i can go bike riding around the neighborhood. i want to change my life for the better. some of my own friends cant help me, so why not try here? feel free to add me, give me advice, pointers and motivate :happy:

Welcome and good luck!! I'm new to the site as well and so far LOVE it!
My story is similar to yours. I was at the walk in for a sinus infection. Stepped on the scale and it said 199.7!! WAY too close for comfort!

my story is sorta similar...stepped on the scale it said 196...that was def a wake up call. im now 160 but im trynna get down to 140. im 5'4 and 22yo....good luck ladies, im gonna add yall, need some more motivated friends on MFP0
