I am trying to have lots of healthy food on hand so that I eat healthy. I find a trip to Sam's each week help's me and my family eat healthy. Here are some of the things I pick up each week. I would love to hear what foods others pick up every week to help them eat healthy.

1. Sam's Club - Hearts of Romaine - I always have it washed and chopped up so it is easy to make a salad.
2. Sam's Club - Athenos Feta Cheese 24 oz container
3. Sam's Club - Boneless Chicken - I don't know why but Sam's Boneless chicken is so much better than the boneless chicken we get from Shop Rite. I cook it with salt, pepper and granulated garlic in a non stick pan with a little bit of olive oil. I cook a few pieces at a time and have it sliced up in strips so it is easy to grab for lunch etc...
4. Sam's Club - Eggs - I like to have hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator. We only each the egg whites.
5. Sam's Club - Arnold 100 calorie Sandwich Thins
6. Sam's Club - Ground Turkey - we make turkey burgers or turkey chili
7. Sam's Club - Fiber One - Brownies
8. Sam's Club - Individually Frozen Tilapia
9. Shop Rite - Bags of Frozen Vegetables that can be microwaved in bag
10. Sam's Club - Cans of mushrooms
11. Sam's Club - Red Delicious Apples

    Great post! Here's mine:

    Baby carrots
Fruit - this week I am on navel oranges and blueberries. I eat a piece of fruit before doing 20-30 minutes of cardio in the morning, then eat breakfast after
Almond Butter - great on celery, in oatmeal, on toast and rice cakes - I use 1 TBS
Boneless chicken - I cook in the crockpot with celery, onions and herbs, then I have shredded chicken for enchiladas, salads, sandwiches, etc. Got this tip from Gina on Skinnytaste
Fiber One brownies - curbs that craving for something sweet!
Dark Chocolate - Dove or Ghiradelli squares - 1 or 2 pieces and I have it put UP - makes me think about it first
    Laughing cow cheese

    I also try to keep on hand;

Bananas (if they start to get too ripe I freeze for smoothies)
Trop50 or minute maid light OJ
Greek yogurt (so great for protein)
    Instant oatmeal
Protein bars (I alternate between kinds. Right now I love Luna)
Canned white albacore tuna in water
Nuts - Almonds, walnuts, pecans in my freezer. Great portable snack.
    String cheese

    Keep up the great work!!

I just went last night and it is essentially for one person since it is just myself and my 2 little ones and this will last almost 2 weeks (1 week on some of the fresh greens).

2 Chobani plain no fat greek yogurt (use for smoothies, fresh fruits, on baked potatoes & salad dressings/dips)
1 large package of 93/7 ground turkey (will make a veggie meatloaf & some turkey burgers laced with spinach, craisins, chopped walnuts, 1 egg and ground oats).
Fresh baby spinach - soups and omelets
    Fresh spring mix
    2 lb bag of carrots
Fresh kale - add to smoothies, soups & for baked kale chips
mushrooms - soups, sautes & omelets
    bag of lemons
bag of frozen mixed berries - smoothies
    large head of cauliflower
package of organic chicken breasts (boneless/skinless) individually wrapped - soups and salads
all kinds of beans (black, white, chick peas etc) - soups, salads, chili
    low fat shredded cheese
    english cukes
    Kefir
    marinara

looked at the salmon, but realized they only carry farm raised, so I'll pick that up else where.

I buy milk and some of the other stuff listed, but sometimes Sam's is not always cheaper on things. I've seen the edamme before, but could not find it last time.
