30 Day Shred Music

Hi all! Yesterday I posted a question about how you keep yourself interested in and motivated during 30 day shred. One person recommended that I find music that I liked with the same number of beats per minute as the dvd and work out to that instead. Has anyone done this? It sounds kind of tricky to get the music to sync up exactly with the workout. If not, has anyone done it with music that doesn't match up? Does it throw you off or bother you? thanks in advance for all of the help!

for some reason the music on my shred it with weights doesn't work. I have no idea, it's just that dvd though.

It's totally possible to do the workout with no sound, imo doesn't matter what music you use, as long as you are moving.

I haven't done it for Shred, but I put on my mp3 player for RIpped in 30 and it didn't mess with me. I didn't pick any specific speed or anything. I do Shred with a friend so I just chat with her, or complain with her depending on the day!

I've done that :) Since you do it 10 days total, eventually the routine is memorized for the most part. I would just go on my history on youtube and shuffle the songs so it was different songs each time. I liked it a lot, it went by quicker :)

That is a fab idea - I've really been struggling with 30 Day Shred but am so going to try it with music now!

    Thanks :)

Haha yes! Jillian Michaels gets on my nerves, so I have a playlist that I listen to when I do 30DS :) Its isn't necessarily the same rythm that they use on the video, just music that keeps me going!
