Hey Blues!!
Leigh - So awesome to see you around again!! Keep going!!
hmo4 - HUGS!! Girl, you are such a kick butt motivator! I know you can do it!!
Chrissy - I just love your little Lulu!! It's going to be a long month for you, but hang in there, little Lulu will learn so much on how to be a good puppy by staying with her Mom before she goes home with you! Congrats! Nice goals, by the way!! :drinker:
pshook - congrats to you & your beau for getting healthy together!! My hubby & I did this a few years ago (before our girls came along) & it was so awesome to work together on getting ourselves healthy for eachother! Enjoy!
debnu1 - Hang in there! I know that sweets are definately a trigger & if I must have it I try to enjoy it. Put your treat on a plate, pour yourself some coffee or milk, put your feet up & savor every yummy bite. Sometimes we deserve a treat (as long as they fit in) & there's nothing wrong with enjoying them, but that's what I recommend... Enjoy it!! And, of course the low cal versions are great if you're into that!!
Gotta run!! Have a great day - I'll check in later!!0 -
For some reason I am not seeing replys unless I hit the reply button--odd. Thank you sanifrey and Chrissy. Those are great tips. I don't usually beat myself up too much for giving in anymore. So I think I just need to take a moment and think before I let myself be overcome. I also just need to not get too hungry--I think that was my big problem this week. One baby step at a time!!0

alright everyone I'm very upset with myself and it took me till today going out with a friend that I didn't know counted calories also and is all about loosing weight and exercising. I had told her that I fell off the wagon and well I haven't been doing what I use to been doing and I have been eating really bad again and not exercising. She told me that she has also done this along with everyone here I know. I love you guys you guys have been all my support and talk about you guys all the time but sometimes it really helps to have someone in my life that I need the support and the push to keep on going. She made me realize that I can do this. I'm 4lbs shy of 50lbs lost and it doesn't matter if I have fallen off I CAN get back on. I will get back on. Frankly I have been feeling like *kitten* the last couple of weeks now. I went from only having about 1 seizure a month to about 2-3 a day again which results in me not doing anything but feeling sorry for myself. This has also resulted in me already quiting tae kwon do. I'm so pissed at myself. :explode: I'm not going to stay this way however. Tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to turn the leaf over. I will cut down to only one can of coke a day and that will be within my calorie limits. I'm back to counting again and I'm going to start exercising again. Even if that means starting out slow again which as most of you know me I don't take very well. I'm the person that is a full force type person. I think me not feeling good has everything to do with me falling off of my lifestyle change and I will make myself healthy again. I'M BACK GUYS. I will be checking back in everyday again and keep track of those calories. Measuring everything and keeping my HRM back on.
So here is to a healthy lifestyle. :drinker:0 -

So I've been MAJORLY slacking and I'm worried about the weigh in this week. I already gained last week and don't want to see another one. Back to logging and not eating fast food, I guess.
Car update: I put my new radiator in, so after I pick up some coolant I'll be able to start her up again. Now I'm in the process of sanding and painting! Ugh....:grumble: :laugh:0 -

All your attention to detail & hard work will pay off on both your car & you!! :drinker: You can do it!!0 -
What the heck is up with this thread? I'm having probs too deb! So last night again I blew it with the sugar. How do I ever break the addiction? All day I'm good and then come eve, I snack and it's usually on carbs-bad:mad: What do you guys do?0
-
I am not typically a snacker - anymore I am really struggling with making sure I'm spreading my food out throughout the day and that I'm eating enough. I think the piling it all in at dinner is what's slowed my loss.
If I snack, I try to look at what I am low on - fiber, protein, carbs and make sure that my snack has that in it. I definitely don't buy the junk I use to - if I buy the kids a treat, it's something I don't like so I have no temptation at home.
I've heard that crystal light and the artificial sweetners make you crave sweets more...something to ponder.0 -

They really do. I used drink crystal light all the time and I couldn't figure out why my appetite was insatiable. When I stopped drinking crystal light, my appetite went with it.0 -
I've been trying really hard to cut it back - I quit soda all together in April so this is my next step...0

Hey guys... I haven't forgotten about ya'll! I got really, really sick with the flu this weekend, just in time for my days off from work. How convenient! So, I don't think it's fair for me to weigh in. I saw like a 5 pound drop but I'm sure I'll put more of it back on. Hope you all have a better week than what I've had. Work is kicking my rear along with the stress of my husband officially being in Afghanistan and a friend of the family being shot over there. I'm having to make myself remember to eat enough calories - usually I can beef it up with a protein bar. I'm hoping things will get better soon...0

Try adding fresh fruit to your water. I like to slice up ripe strawberries or raspberries.0 -

I so quit. Then I got a damn craving for coke on ice and its all over. I'm counting into my calories. I have noticed however since I have been drinking the pop again I haven't been craving the chocolate what is up with that??
I love to put lemon in my water ah its so good.0 -
Uggggh up about a pound this week. Alright, that's it. Back to water and not like 2 iced coffees/lattes a day! And eating at home not sheetz/mcd's.0
-
137 today! Oh well.0
-
No change for me this week - I think that's 3 weeks that I've been flat....hopefully with the extra workouts I'm putting in this week, it'll change - we'll see....0
-
my weight is 198. I am stuck.0
-
I'm still at 247.... and I just noticed I am the heaviest on our team. :indifferent: Doesn't that mean I should be losing more?
Maybe next week. I have been doing really well with eating and exercising so far this week. I burned 750 calories yesterday and 700 the day before! :drinker:
Thanks for the replies about Zumba and the video! I'm not sure I'm coordinated enough (yet) to do it... hehe, but... we'll see!0 -
Down slightly to 230.8, but still stuck "visiting" the 230s again :grumble:.
Still trying to get to the 10 lbs mark by the end of the month. Just haven't found the magic formula for my body yet I guess.0 -
TOM soon here... so my weight is going all wonky.. from 184lbs to about 189lbs... woot! :grumble:0
