diffuse sky radiation: blue has a short wavelength of (EL) spectrum therefore it is easier to scatter in the same area and because it's scattered more than other (EL) e.g red the human eye "perceives" it be blue.
However this is not true when light is almost at a tangent to the relative surface as blue and green light pass over each other more frequently in the same space causing a red glowing effect some refer to this as a sunset or sunrise. (refer to Rayleigh scattering)0 -
