'Too much water leads to swelling beneath cellulite'

I was just flicking through this article about ways to reduce/prevent cellulite (all fairly obvious stuff tbh) and then there's this bit about drinking water:

Yep, we all know drinking water is great for cellulite, but this says that drinking too much can lead to swelling underneath the cellulite... and says 1.5 litres a day is plenty.

I can often drink far more than 1.5 litres - if I go by the half my body weight in ounces thing then I should be drinking about 2.5 litres daily.

What do we think of this? All the differing advice & opinions from all sorts of 'health leaders' and whatnot can be really frustrating!
