too good not to share:
Left: 2008 at 185 lbs before MFP
Right: 2012 at 158 lbs.
Factors leading to my success: eating healthy and moving frequently. My definition of "healthy" and my type of "moving" has changed a few times, but its all about finding what works for YOU.
Note, I'm now a Paleo CrossFitter but I was a Vegetarian Marathoner before (Ya, crazy extremes, I know!)0 -
Turbo Fire - Day 1/Day 60
& also a comparison from March 2011-March 2012 (today)

Before 230 pounds:

139:
Goal--135
Body fat--Started out at 40%ish
Now--about 25%
O-M-G!
Absolutely gorgeous! You look fantastic, congrats!!!0 -
Me at 175, April of 2010
(in between then and now I had done the back and forth between 160-140...you know how it goes)
Me at 165, January of 2012
(then I decided to diet and exercise the RIGHT way)
Me at 152, today
My goal weight is 145. Oh, and the line on my abdomen is a scar from a surgery that went very wrong. LOL. It makes my tummy look thicker than it really is.0 -
U guys are awesome! Im in week 11 of a 12 week challenge , will post pics next week0

Great job everyone! I can't figure out how to post my before and after pics, but there is one on my profile. Down 71lbs so far and 15.6 more to go by my birthday on May 11th which was my ultimate goal. I was an 18 before and now I am a 12. Goal is to be in a size 10 (back to high school days, but more toned of course)0

These pics are over a couple of years but I actually lost the weight (about 25lbs) over 6 months.

If someone is a size 12 and they want to lose weight, they should not be discouraged from doing so! BMI is important and so is total body fat, neither of which she posted here. Pictures only - and she was very pretty before, but now she is even hotter! So, do not assume that she is too thin. That is a very personal decision, not one that other can judge in a forum such as this. She is probably well within her healthy BMI range. At a size 12 at 168 pounds I was squarely in the overweight range for BMI.0

I so agree with you and what you are stating is a true fact. You have to look at your body fat %...you can be 140, but still be high in body fat. Plus, everybody is formed/shaped differently.0 -
Wow you all look so great thank you for sharing and one day I will post mine :drinker: :drinker:0
