at one time ( as in ONE set), 20 or so standard good form push ups.

over the course of an hour work out ( p90x) i have done 136 total. mind you, some of those were on my knees ( like clap, and one arm). and then some you physically cannot do on your knees.

All at once? Probably 25. I'm sure if I spend a few weeks working on it, I could get it up to 40.

Just did 20 after I've done 30 miles of cycling and been to the gym on lunch. Wonder what I can do on a rest day. Not done them often in the past so I'm quite happy with that.

My arms have never been a strong area for me (but I'm working on that). I can do 15 up to 18 if I'm pushing it.

I found a really good spot that's got 2 sides I can put my hands on and fit my body between so I can go much lower, now they're absolutely killer!

40-50 max when my shoulder is not giving me hell. During my workouts I do 4 sets of 20 each on the 'Perfect Push-up' but I can up that to 25-30 on the floor.

About 20 before the form starts deteriorating

I could probably push myself and do about ten more but they wouldn't be good

I can do 28 without stopping. I could eek out a few more after that, but the form wouldn't be pretty.

On my physical fitness test, I always stop at 33 because that gives me 9/10 points and I know I can do 33 without triggering pain in my wrist (10 out of 10 points is 46).

On a good day, I've done 46, but I have to be feeling REALLY good (or about to take a vacation where I won't have to type/drive for awhile) or I won't even TRY to get past 30.

My goodness! I have been working to up my push up capabilities but it seems like I never get better! I can only do like 10 real push ups- and I am in good shape!

Congrats to you all for being able to do so many!
