Cut off time

What is everyone's "cut off time' for eating that last bite of food @ night? I try to eat my dinner no later than 6 p.m. but I do sometimes sneak in a snack around 9 or 10.

I try to not eat real late, but sometimes I have a late snack, even past 9pm if I'm hungry. I workout around 5:45am, and if I go to bed hungry, I wake up starving, and that's no good for early morning workouts!0

usually chewing as I falling asleep0

my cut off time is 8pm but im usually good after dinner,im most hungry in the afternoon im guessing maybe cause im most active?0

There's no such thing as a cutoff time. I stop eating when I've eaten enough.0

I cut off at 7:30...even set an alarm on my phone to remind me that pops up with a text: THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED!0

I have read a few articles on this, and contrary to historical beliefs, there isn't any time you "should" stop eating, just make sure you aren't eating fatty stuff right before bed (which you shouldn't be eating anyway really). So as long as you have the calories left, it doesn't matter.0

I gave up eating after 8pm for Lent this year. I found myself eating crap and too much of it later in the evenings for no reason. I wasn't really hungry, just bored. Now that I've made that commitment, I'm doing much better with staying within my calorie goal.0

no cut off time. That's just silly. I do stop drinking water by 9 at least though. If not I have to pee a few times when I get into bed!0

umm..keeping the metabolism fire burning...duh!0 -
I eat my last "meal" right before bed, usually whey protein or cottage cheese, to keep my metabolism burning while I sleep and keep feeding my recuperating muscles.0

why place limits.....crackers in bed are good0

I don't have a cut off time, I think its best to have a little snack if your hungry... depriving yourself may lead to over indulgence. I tried having a 7pm cut off time and I found that at 6:30 I was trying to eat everything in sight! So now I just watch my portions if I do have a little snack late at night.0

I keep a warm pot of chocolate beside the bed in case i wake up hungry... then I can just grab a bed bug and coat it in chocolate fondue0

Short term (<24 hours) fasting actually speeds up your metabolism more than eating.0 -
I eat when I'm hungry. I eat dinner around 8 and usually snack sometime before bed after that.
I don't believe in not eating at night.0 -

What is this cut off time of which you speak?0

Usually 5am but not really for any specific reason, I just don't ever eat between then and bedtime and usually I'm done eating by 2, depending on how the shift goes.0
-
I eat and eat and eat and stop when I fall asleep.
But really...
yeah, pretty much that.0 -
Whichever comes first:
1) I run out of calories.
2) I fall asleep.0 -
no cut off time here........:noway:0

Cutoff time is usually 1 to 2 hours before I go to bed, so I try to gauge properly each night. Then after I eat my snack I just drink water and it's usually good enough.0

Generally before I crawl into bed as otherwise I tend to get crumbs in my bed. Actually I just ate and I'm about to tuck in0
-
Nothing within an hour of sleeping. Usually I am not hungry after 930ish though.0
