I won a competition run by my local health food store (Health 2000 for those of you in NZ).

What I won was a bottle of Ripped Freak Hybrid Fat Burner Tablets (http://www.rippedfreak.com/index.cfm?pagepath=RIPPED_FREAK&id=19882).

I have absolutely NO experience with supplements and have no idea whether or not I should try them. They sound attractive with the fat burning and all, but are they worth the experiment?
I'm only 1.55m (5ft1") and 58kg (128lb) - these tablets are meant for bigger people then me, right?? So if I take them could there be negative side effects because my body cannot handle the dose?

They are made up of a lot of stuff that I have never heard of and do not know the effects these ingredients have on the body (http://www.rippedfreak.com/index.cfm?pagepath=RIPPED_FREAK/RF_Supplement_Facts&id=19883).

I have no idea. Would love your advise if you have taken them, or anything else like them before!!!

All I'd say is you are doing well without them. I wouldn't use them personally. Energy in to Energy out - thats all weight loss is about.

Yeah, thanks for the advise. Anyone else have any thoughts about supplements?
I would love to understand them a little bit better!

fat burners are only thermogenic foods.
Thermogenic foods are food that provide the ability to higher body's temperature (thermogenesis), thus making bigger energy releasing (caloric expenditure) for a given task - even when you rest.
In the end you'd higher your metabolism (more calories burn)
Thermogenic supplements or "fat burners" are just a mix of nice thermogenic food :
    - theine
    - cafeine
    - spices,
    -etc...

In fact save your money, don't buy em

But since you won them.. Either try them or sell them (my vote's w the later one - just think how much money you can make off those supplement-sculling addicts!)
