I am a 38DD and a runner. My champion bra I wear has an underwire and when I run it rubs and hurts. What do you larger busted girls wear?

Sorry I wish I could help....SO sorry !!!!!:laugh:0

Google enell bra. Love it! Very pricey, but one bra holds up for a long time. Also offers great back support.0

This is the best one I have found & I am a 34-36D and well lets be honest I should prob. wear a DD.... LOL

The only downfall is that after several hours you kinda get the uni-boob thing going if its not tight enough.0 -
Honestly I havent found anything that works yet but wearing multiple ones at the same time. I do not have any underwire sportbras but do wear more than one at a time for support.0

I am a large D (38) and have a hard time finding sports bras myself. The Fiona Bra by Moving Comfort is the first bra that has offered me a comfortable level of support. I found mine on Amazon for a decent price. It is not perfect but it is the best I have found so far and I have tried plenty. Good luck!!0

I'm the same size. I usually wear two sports bras then a tight fitting tank with a built in bra. I know its probably not the answer you were hoping for, but its been working for me!0
-
I'm much bigger, H, I, or J range depending on the manufacture. I used to be a DD and hope I can get back to it.
I love the Goddess sports bra, bought several on Amazon and never been happier. I still wear two just because of my size when doing cardio, but they are extremely supportive and no underwire.0 -
My absolute favorite (I'm a 40DD) is Fiona from Moving Comfort. I got mine on amazon for like 28 bucks, and it's brilliant. When I first got it I felt it and had no hope what so ever...it seems flimsy...no underwire, etc...but omg it works amazingly well!
edited to add: I almost always (used to) wear 2...but that one I only need the one...Highly Highly reccomend0 -
I have a good one from Old Navy.0

I wanted to second getting an Enell. The investment is well worth it if especially since you need to provide relief to your back as well. I have three of them to stay in rotation. And if you're very large breasted they do customs.0

Title 9 has a great selection. I'm DD, so when I'm jumping around i normally wear two.

I really recommend you get fitted at Nordstrom, Macy's, etc by a fit specialist. I always find good ones at Nordstrom. Most women wear the wrong size bra, and we're supposed to get fitted every 6 months!
Because they're pricey, I might buy just one and look for more on eBay. The brand I currently use is Wacoal. I hate their regular bras, but the sports ones give me lots of support during activity!0 -
Try this site, they have "high support" bras and you might even find one on sale. http://www.teamestrogen.com/0

I am on the other end of the scale - only jusssst filling a bcup - but mine move A LOT, and generally out sideways likethey want to hide under my arms
Only way I can run comfortably is to wear a sports crop bra over my underwire sports bra. I just have a few basic Target sports crops - and i get them so that they are pretty firm fitting. works a treat - no more sliding booobies0 -

Freya active -- it's underwire, I haven't experienced it rubbing, and NOTHING bounces (and I'm a 36G, so that's a tall order). I also like Moving Comfort, and Wacoal. All are not inexpensive. For that level of architectural support I kind of expect to lay out some money, to me it's worth it to avoid the pain.0
-
Right now, since I am losing weight, I buy the cheapies that come in 2 packs at Wal-Mart or Target. I always wear two bras at a time when training. It works for me, and I do a lot of jumping jacks and hops.0

I'm a 34-36D and I just recently found Moving Comfort brand(carried at RoadRunner and REI as well as at movingcomfort.com) I LOVE #350032. Also...get fitted professionally! I was still thinking my 38DD were "fitting" ok...No, I now know they were not!0
-
How much $$ are you willing to spend?
If that isn't an issue, I'd definitely recommend the brand Enell, but they're about $60
I'm a 40DDD and this is the only type of sports bra I've found that does me any justice. I buy them off the internet.
Good luck Robin!0 -
I wear a regular bra with a sports bra (I bought at walmart) on top of it. and usually I just roll some of the sports under the wire. It helps.0
-
I'm not as big as all you... I was!! But after 55+ lbs gone - sadly the girls are gone- but ditto for below... even now... bra and a tank with built in bra, then short or long sleeved shirt... keeps the girls in place for me!
LI'm the same size. I usually wear two sports bras then a tight fitting tank with a built in bra. I know its probably not the answer you were hoping for, but its been working for me!0 -

This. I have bought the 3-pack of Fruit of the Loom cotton sports bras from Wal-mart and worn 1, 2, or all 3 of them based on the activity I'm doing. They are matching colors and have different styles (racerback, thin strap, etc.) that fit on top of each other and look decent together.
I never use an underwire sports bra. I just use a very tight one that won't allow for much movement.0 -
I'd love to get a really nice sports bra like Freya or Goddess, but don't want to spend that kind of money until I reach my goal weight. You definitely want to get the right kind of bra for your level of exercise. I purchased a Lily of France In Action bra at Kohl's for about $20. It's just perfect for my jogging. It does have an underwire, but it is so well padded that I don't even notice it. No jiggling here. BTW - I'm a 36DD.0

I'd like to third getting an Enell.0

Same here 36/38 DD/E - I wear shock absorbers (level 4) i get very little bounce when I run etc...
Boobydoo is a very good site to order from x0 -
I'm 38 F sometimes 40Es. Every bra style is different and while I wear under wire in most of my everyday bras I do not own one sports bra with wire. I recently purchased two different styles of Anita active bras from Macy's.com. I also got two Moving Comfort Jubralee sports bras. I went to a running store to get measured and they ordered several different sizes. I came back for a fitting and bought the size that worked for me. DO NOT STOP UNTIL YOU GET A GOOD SUPPORTIVE BRA! Irreversible breast sag in the name of getting fit is NOT the way to go. I hope you find something that works for you soon.0

I wear an enell. I am a 42DDD.0
-
I wear two sports bras at a time... Haven't seemed to find just one that is perfect0
-
I wear the shock absorbers - might be a UK brand though but I would highly recommend them.0
