This whole week I've been completely worn out. I feel drained today and I don't know why. I've recently lost 82 lbs and I go to ge gym for cardio every single day. Has anyone experienced this with a large weight loss?

I didn´t lose as much weight as you did but I felt the same way Wednesday and Thursday. Could be all kind of things: time change, your body needs a break, you are coming down with a cold etc.

Listen to your body and give it a little rest.

Hope you are feeling better soon!
  • I haven't lost as much as you, but on tues and weds I was zonked all day, just wanted to flop out, as I have been exercising quite a lot I did just that.

Today the energy came back, and I'm on the road again, maybe you just need to rest for a bit. Rest is just as important as exercise just not all day every day or we would all be back where we started.

I also sneaked in a 95 cal chocolate bar, just the one honest,

Hope you feel more energised soon.

    Good luck

Have you had your thyroid checked?

I get stricken with pure exhaustion about once a month. I also get my period once a month. Hmmmm...coincidence? I know my hormones do a number on me and my emotional and physical state. I also have 4 small children that don't often let me get a full night's sleep. Could be any number of things causing you to be tired.

Assuming that you are eating enough, and getting all your macro need satisfied (Protein, Carbs, Fats) - are you taking a multivitamin? It's difficult to get all your nutrients when eating at a deficit unless you are very strict about your foods. Looking at your Food Diary, I think it may be helpful to start on a multi-vitamin/multi-mineral supplement. Centrum or One-A-Day are fine.
  • Sometimes our bodies need a break. Up your calories to maintenance for a week (you won't gain) and then return to your current calories. See if that helps your energy level.

Yes I am actually hypothyroid and taking synthroid. My levels were checked about a month ago and they were ok. I may just take a night off from the gym.....

I think you need to consider giving yourself a rest! You can't expect to work out every single day without fail and not be tired.

I've looked at your diary - you were constantly undereating at about a 1000 cals a day for at least the last week - did not look further back....:noway:
Will your car go on working without fuel? Because I can assure you your body won't......

I really do struggle with my calories. I am still very overweight so I burn at the least 500-550 calories at the gym everyday. Then the evenings I have a hard time coming home and eating a heavy meal after working out. Any ideas to get my calories up without putting complete crap in my body?

Eat more nuts, and healthy fats like avocados. Calorie dense, yet good for you.

Eat half of it during the day if you are sure you are going to the gym, then fill up with a protein shake afterwards...And yes, nuts and avocado and such are nice fillers with good fat....
You are exhausting your bodyf and not fueling it - you need to take a day off now and then and eat properly, otherwise you will burn out, lose muscle mass and just give up.....
