I'm in the same boat tonight....but I am all out of "fat" calories, need more protein....I am thinking of going for the cheese because it has more protein than peanut butter. *sigh*
Never seemed to have this problem before I was counting my calories...I guess I have shrunken my appetite.0 -
Peanut butter + spoon. Crisis averted.
I agree
Or A PB and J sammich and a glass of something to drink
I love this movie0 -

indubitably0 -
600 is a lot of calories. I've gone to bed with 500ish calories left and wake up the next day starving. We're not always hungry when we need to eat, and we do not always need to eat when we are hungry. Try and eat something like nuts or a piece of cheese and a nice glass of water.0

bottle of wine :drinker:0

Here's a few things I usually have on hand -
peanut butter of course
Almond butter (mix with greek yogurt and a few almonds and a bit of honey
Avocado
Low fat cheese stick
a few almonds or cashews
Hard boiled egg
Frozen grapes
and the weirdest one - diced frozen chicken breast - cooked of course, and seasoned with whatever I was cooking at the time.. I don't even thaw it. It's kind of like jerky without the sodium.0 -
Hehe don't! I don't have 600 cals left so very jealous lol.
In seriousness.. how about toasting a slice of bread, spread with peanut butter and top with sliced banana and some choc sauce drizzled over. That and a glass of milk and you're sorted.
Dammit now I'm hungry!0 -
If this doesn't happen often, I wouldn't sweat it. Going under, especially if a lot of that was earned by exercise, once in a while isn't going to kill your metabolism or put you in "starvation mode." That would take a pattern of frequently going well under.
While you're at it, send some of those spare calories my way, I need a few more for today :laugh:0 -
Just don't eat.....I sometimes am as low as 1000 calories left to consume
Generally not good advice.0 -
Never eat unless you are actually hungry. Your body tells you when it needs something.
Not true. Know anything about leptin and ghrelin?
wise woman. what she said!!
Care to explain? I actually DON'T know anything about leptin and ghrelin.0 -
Aw . . . with "kfc" in your handle I would suggest nothing! I have some left over a lot. It seems if it happens too much the program/system will tell you you have got to eat above xxx I guess it changes, for me it is 1000 calories. Just accept the left over, ''ess you need a beer or wine
or any of MY weaknesses. :drinker:

That whole listen to your body is bollocks. Fuel yourself.
Seeds and nuts. I keep almonds and brazil nuts on hand if I need more calories.0 -
One day isn't going to hurt!0
-
I would just leave it. Once in a while is no big deal, just not something that should be a habit.0
-
I'd have a shake and maybe some fries0

Eat a little something....
* Nuts
* Peanut Butter
* Hard Salami
* Cheese0 -
If this is a one-off, eat something small and don't worry about it.
If this happens all the time, then start planning your meals for the day so you don't end up who so much left at the end of the day.
I'm not a fan of "listening to your body and eating when hungry" - I've never been thinner or healthier than when I eat a moderate amount of food regularly, hungry or not.0 -
