Mood Change

Does anyone experience shortness of temper when they exercise alot and restrict calories? This is what I am finding is happening to me over the past few weeks. I am just putting it down to over doing the exercise a bit. I am eating about 1600-1700 calories a day and burning off about 200-300 per day. I had one day's rest from exercise this week.
