I've had one for a little over a year a now.. and I like it a lot.

I think it helps if you put in the work out side of the session. You can't just go in thinking that they are magic and going to fix every problem for you. You need to put in work too and make an effort.

I train with my once a week for an hour.. I may bump it up later, but right now this is working for me.

when I first started getting in to strength training, I had a trainer. It helped me immensely. She showed me how to do things correctly, and motivated me to lift heavier than I ever would have if left to my own devices. I did cardio on my own, but saw her 3x per week, for half an hour at a time.
  • might have to get one just to get me started and give me all that motivation i need
    thanks girls

    bump
  • I work with a trainer twice a week for an hour (every 3rd week I do an extra visit as well).

We do strength training only, I do cardio on my own.

It has made ALL the difference in my success. They push me to limits I didn't even know I had. Love it Love it Love it.

I had a trainer only for a few sessions..I just wanted to get comfortable in the gym...it was really overwhelming to me at ..I say go for it!! If I had the cash I would invest in one for longer term as well!!

I've had one since the beginning of Dec. Because I lift heavy, he's kind of like a built in spotter. He definitely pushes me and I'm seeing results that make me happy. I work out with him 4 times a week for weights only. I do HIIT and abs on my own.
  • got myself a trainer hope it works for me....thank you everyone

I was thinking about it, but reading this made me decide to do it....I'm hoping it's worth it!
