McDonald's for breakfast

Anyone have any idea what a vegetarian can get from McDonald's for breakfast? I don't have choice in the restaurant and am going there tomorrow morning. Last time I had pancakes, but they took more than a third of my calories. I love their hashbrowns, but I am thinking they are mostly empty calories. Has anyone tried their oatmeal? Any good? Any other ideas?

I haven't eaten there in forever but used to get an egg and cheese biscuit or something along those lines. Check the nutrition info online to see which has the fewest calories...biscuit, mcmuffin, etc. I have also tried their oatmeal with fruit and nuts. It's really good. I would definitely get it again sometime.0

I really like their oatmeal with the fresh fruit. It is filling all by itself. I usually pair it with unsweet tea since I am not a coffee drinker. They also have a fruit parfait but I have never tried that one myself.0

Oatmeal with fruit, fruit and yogurt parfait. I believe that they have scrambled eggs (I am not sure if you eat eggs or not)
If you do eat eggs, you can get an egg mcmuffin minus the canadian bacon or whatever meat they put on it. They are only 300 calories with the meat, so without it is probably 50-100 calories less. The hashbrowns have a lot of fat and oil in them so that is probably not the best idea. I also looked up the menu for mcdonalds breakfast hope this helps!

Egg McMuffin w/o Canadian bacon and a nonfat latte would be reasonable.0

Use their nutritional information on their website: http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutritionexchange/nutritionfacts.pdf0

Definitely check the nutrition and ingredients: I am pretty sure their hashbrowns, like their french fries, are not vegetarian. They put beef fat on them.0
-
get the egg and cheese burritos, pretty good.0
-
I am sure they sell the sausage McMuffins to vegetarians as well as meat eaters.0

the oatmeal is actually yummy and they also have yogurt with fruit and granola...just look at all the calories ahead of time and pick what your getting.0
-
Get the bacon and egg mcmuffin and work out a little longer, lol0
-

The fruit and maple oatmeal is SO GOOD!!! They also have an egg and cheese mcmuffin that's on the dollar menu.0
-
Yes, it is very good!!0

Haven't tried the oatmeal but I know the egg and cheese mcmuffin with ham on it is only 290 calories so if you take the meat off that's even a little less!0

I would go with the oatmeal or fruit and yogurt parfait. I'm sure the eggs aren't bad but they could possibly be cooked in quite a bit of butter (I mean it is fast food) and it may not count that into their calorie count for that menu item. Stay with things you know are less likely to be processed and you feel good about eating0

I have to go to McDonald's every Saturday morning for a meeting, I don't want to use my calories up there. And I also need more protein than McDonald's yogurt has, so seriously, I bring my own Greek yogurt, and just buy a ice tea (sometimes).0

This is correct. They add beef flavoring to their hashbrowns and french fries to make sure they keep a consistent flavor all year long. If you check their website, it will list beef flavoring as an ingredient.0 -
always the option of skipping breakfast & eating later also if you can't find anything decent.0

I've had both their fruit and maple oatmeal and their fruit and yogurt parfait. To be honest I liked the oatmeal better. Quite delicious. And both options are meat-less, of course.
The oatmeal is about 290 calories and the parfait is about 160 calories. Oh and their coffee by Newman's Own is really good.0 -
Get the Parfait. It's little calories and yummy0

Go online to McDonalds nutritional site. It will give you a list of everything they have plus the calories.0

The Fruit and Walnut salad - snack size is 210 calories with apples, grapes, candied walnuts and yogurt dipping sauce.0
