I Never Let Myself Get Hungry

This is my food issue. I never let myself get hungry. I eat all day long, and I hardly ever feel full from doing this.

What I'm looking for are tips from anyone here who can help me! How do I mentally stop myself from eating when I'm not hungry? It shouldn't be hard, but it seems to be!

Planning out my days on MFP doesn't help this problem, because I will eat what I have planned regardless of my hunger. Yes, I'm watching my calories when I plan out my days, but it doesn't help the underlying issue: eating when I'm not hungry!

Help me please!

I don't let myself get hungry, because if I do, I binge. I just watch and count my calories and as long as I am within my goal I eat what I have planned. If I feel full then I stop eating and save the rest for later. Hope this helps.

I see what you're saying... My binge sessions can last all day long if I don't plan out my days.

It's not really that I want to be starving before I eat, but I'd rather not eat if I wasn't hungry. It's a mental thing, and I'm not sure how to get myself to that point. I eat mindlessly most of the time.

You just have to delay eating a bit.

For me, I don't let myself get too hungry because if I do I will throw all this healthy eating out the window and binge. I eat when I feel hunger however I always drink water first since our bodies tend to confuse thirst for hunger.

When you feel the urge to eat delay it by a few minutes.... say you'll eat in 15 minutes. Drink water and distract yourself.

If you are being truthful in your tracking and you stay within your calorie goals I don't see a problem to constantly eating. I tend to graze throughout the day... never really feeling all that hungry.

I also don't allow myself to get hungry, because I also binge when I do... However, I try to drink a decent amount of water everyday... for me when I do that it seriously staves off feeling hungry... Because most of the time I'm just thirsty... so when you get hungry, try drinking a glass of water first (if you don't already do that) because it may just be your body telling you your thirsty but your mistaking it for hunger...

As long as you are hitting your calorie goal timing of eating will not affect weight loss. I eat 6-8 times/day, this way I feel my best and always have energy.

If you are eating healthy food and eating within your calorie limits, there is nothing wrong with eating all day.

I graze all day long. And I eat most of my calories in the evening.

I also never let myself get hungry. If I do, I will eat stuff that's quick and at hand, which is usually never healthy.

There is nothing wrong with what you are doing.
