Usually around 60-65 - sometimes as low as 51 (sitting passenger seat of car/ watching tv)

If you are not very fit, below 60 can be a sign of issues with the heart (bradycardia)

My HRM (Suunto) asks you to lie down for 3 mins with the HRM on and eyes closed to measure resting heartrate for personal settings.

When I have worked out I leave my HRM on to see how quickly my heart recovers

You should have your thyroid checked. It may be overactive.

Normal resting heart rate should be between 50's and 70's.

I'm curious based on old threads I've been reading through.

    Incorrect. Normal HR is 60-100.

A lot of these seem low, but then again I have anxiety so maybe 120/86 isn't so abnormal.

i think my heart rate and bp run high because of my anxiety. if im at home where im less anxious, all of my numbers seem pretty normal

At the beginning when I weighed 336 pounds it would be around 100 or more just sitting on my butt, watching tv. Now it is usually around 50.

It used to be almost 90 when I was heavier and didn't run. Now I run obsessively and my resting HR is in the mid-50's.

It was always 104 bpm, but after being put on blood pressure meds it now runs mid 80's. Blood pressure shot up to 190/115, before that it ran about 130/90, now it stays around 110/70. Working on getting all that straightened out, and hopefully off the meds.

My resting heart rate is about 65, but during exercise its a very sad 160-180. Hope it improves as I improve my cardio.

Lying down, mine's about 56; sitting up, it's about 62; standing, it's about 70. When I was rowing crew, it got as low as 40; that was fun. :)
