I'm doing my first one this June! Super excited! Yes it looks intense but from those I know who have done it say it's super fun and everyone is laid back. Of course it's hard and you have to work but everyone is there for a good time and if there happens to be an obstacle you can't do no one is going to ridicule you for it. I say go for it, I'm scared as hell but I'm doing it with my husband and about 20 other friends. It's going to be a blast! On a side note, I've done 5k's and never regretted them, this will be my first like this!

I did it last year at a ski resort. OMG....those hills were killers. Right off the bat we had to run up a huge hill. I started out jogging it and then half way up the hill me and my husband had to walk it. Most people did otherwise you'd burn yourself out. Most of the obstacles were fun and pretty managable. There is 1 that I didn' t do and that's because I felt I didn't have enough arm strength to pull myself up over a 8 or 10 ft wall with a rope. We finished in 47 min which isn't bad considering my neighbor and her bf who just got out of the Marines finished in 41 min. I'm doing it again this year in September.

    Do it.....

I did the Warrior Dash last year and I'm doing it again this year. The obstacles are fun and challenging, but anyone can do them, it just takes time. The hardest and biggest surprise was all of the hills. When there wasn't an obstacle to do, we were either running up or down a hill. That said, It was a blast! Loved the whole atmosphere, race and the people there! If you're thinking about it at all, GO FOR IT!

I am doing the warrior dash for the first time this April in Phx. I am doing p90x, working out at the gym. I am doing a tire routine. I am running intervals. I am a little nervous but excited at the same time. Get out of your comfort zone and try it. It something you can say you have done:)

I am doing my first Warrior this June. Looks like a ton of fun and after watching a ton of videos, most people aren't there to try and win a race. Its mostly all fun. When you get into other races like Tough Mudder and Spartan, those get tough.

The Warrior Dash website has training programs you can print out and use to prepare for the race.

A few friends and I have signed up for one in July. I had heard about it here last year and was too chicken to try it, but am committed this year. Scared and excited at the same time.
