Soreness after lifting.

My trainer added some new routines to my program. My quads and deltoid muscles are sore. Do I have to wait for the pain to go away before I use those groups of muscles again? It's not that painful, kind of like when you get an injection.

It is normal. My trainer changes it every time and I am sore every time. lol However, he says to only work those muscles every 5-7 days. You could talk to your trainer and see.

    +1

If I'm feeling unusally sore, I'll do yoga on my non-lifting days and that REALLY helps.
