    Ladies (and gentlemen ;) ), I need some fashion advice!

    I am going to a fundraiser dinner tomorrow night and I found this fabulous red lace dress that I am in love with. I really wanted to wear black tights with it (because I'm a little uncomfortable about showing my legs, especially at this time of year, and I really just love black tights), but I also just bought a gorgeous pair of nude shoes that I also want to wear. Do you think I can wear them together? Or should I just stick with the traditional nude and neutral tights?

      Red lace and Black lace together sounds a bit over the top... I'd go barelegged with the nude shoes or some really fierce black stillettos

      I understand you like the black tights, but I don't think it looks right together, IMHO. I say nude (not you, the hose)!

      The pictures wouldn't show up but my suggestion is the red dress minus black tights (pulls the eye down). If you go with nude legs, a spray bronzer does wonders!

      No to the nude shoes, black tights and red dress together! Too many colors, too many textures going on... You could do dress, black tights, black shoes.

      If you must wear something on the legs, I'd go nude with the nude shoes.

      I would just go bare with the shoes but that's me.... Cute dress!

      i don't think nude shoes and black tights go together. nude shoes with nude tights would be very striking, or even nude tights with black shoes. wear black shoes if you really want to wear the black tights -- i really like the black tights/black shoes look, myself.

      Your legs look great! You have no worries there. I like the nude hose better. It just seems a bit less harsh to me. No matter what you wear, I hope you have a great time!

      I think the pantyhose (or bare legs) looks way better than the black tights. And your legs looks great, so don't worry!

      Thanks so much guys! I think I am beginning to agree with the nude tights and nude shoes!

      Unfortunately, I don't have any nice black shoes that would work with this dress, or the money to buy any :( Gotta love student budgets! haha

      The nude w/nude shoes. The black tights, in my opinion, are not that flattering. The dress is beautiful and I think that the tights take away from the look of the dress.

      Definitely do not wear the nude shoes with black tights. Looks like an old woman who doesn't know how to match. It would look fab with nude hose w/ nude shoes, or black tights w/ black shoes. I prefer the nude from the pics!

      Nude with nude pantyhose or bare legs.

      Your legs already look long but it'll elongate them even more and it's a much more sophisticated, fashion-forward choice.
