First Week In

I've dieted my entire life (WW, Formu 3, Atkins, etc.) and I've been successful but then, something happens!!!! You lose track, stop watching and soon enough you're in another pair of fat pants!! I'm in a size 14, doesn't seem fat but I'm only 5' 3" so technically, I'm overweight. (I'm guessing a skinny person set the guidlelines for height and weight.) I'm more uncomfortable and not happy with what's underneath my clothes. My husband (who also struggles with weight loss) loves me as I am; however, I think I've only allowed him to see me completely naked twice in the 7 years we're together. Seems crazy, right? Just me being uncomfortable.
This was my first week (started Monday) on this program and as uncomfortable and disgusted as I am, I can't get the motivation I need to make this work. Until today, I've watched my calorie intake but never payed attention to the Carbs, Fat, and Protein.
I'm looking for someone going through the same thing I am that can give me some options on the right foods to eat. You can only eat so many salads!:indifferent:
Can you help?

    Welcome to MFP. This is great site to join. There are a lot of nice people who are hear to motivate you and cheer you on as you learn to make the right choice on foods.
