Vit D is a fat soluble vitamin. It acts like a hormone in your body (called a secosteroid) and your body actually makes it. Unless you have severe deficiency, I would suggest getting out in this beautiful weather. However, if you are looking for foods that will fill this requirement, your best bet is Fish (high in omega-3's, etc) or Fortified products. Furthermore, vegetarians should look into mushrooms as a decent sources of D2. But, like I said, Sunshine, Sunshine, Sunshine! Hope this helps!0
