    I would love to because I have a lot to lose, but I don't think its possible for me without starving myself. I'm 10 weeks in and only 15 pounds down so far, but going to amp up my workouts and hoping for 8lbs. in a month!

  • Hi all. I started this week weighing in at 227 and need to lose about 90 pounds, so losing 10 pounds in the first month will probably be easy for me given that I can probably lose that in water weight and become complacent. But I have started exercising which I haven't done in a looooong time and that also makes a difference when you're starting. I just hope I don't overdo it.

    I would be interested in this too. I have been using Jari Love's ripped dvd's, i have a boot training dvd, the butt bible by Pauline Nordine, that worked great, then I went back to work, I also have P90x, its just hard, Between work, running my kids to their events, etc., I am trying to squeeze in as much exercise whenever and where ever.

    How did you do it. I am obviously doing something wrong, im working out, watching calories, and not a dang pound in a week. Frustrated

    Thursday is my weigh in day.

    3/22/12 weight 170 lbs goal weight 160
    3/29/12 weight 169.5 woohoo 9.5 left in three weeks!! I can so do this!! Just got to step it up a little!!

    I know my ticker says for pounds, thats because Iogged in about a month prior to commiting, then logged back in to find that I had
    gained 5 more. A big motivator for me to commit !! I couldn't imagine continuing to gain 4-5 lbs a month. I never changed my start weight because like I said its a reminder of what happens when I am not paying attention.

    I'm trying to do the same! Lost 8 lbs so far, but my month is starting from March 31st. Last weigh in is on May 28th, the day I leave for vacation!

    I've lost 5 lbs so far since joining, and that was officially in March, I signed up in Dec but didn't have anyone to keep me going, my goal is 12-15 total by end of June, sooner is definitely better. Keeping a food log, as long as you are honest with yourself, and put it all down, the good, the bad and the ugly (like the cadbury eggs my kids brought to me today), you will know where you are at and what to work on. Working out is key, but find something you can stick with and then make sure you change it up as your body becomes accustomed to the same thing. I finally purchased a heart rate monitor that is specifically geared towards you, age, height, weight etc., keeps you hugely motivated as you see the calories burning away.

    4/22/12 WEIGHT 163 I was 3lbs off but its my time of the month :( Thats the way it goes sometimes!!!
