I absolutely love my fit bit. It has really helped motivate me to get moving more, to use the stairs more (I like getting the badges on the website), and I love watching the little flower grow as you're more active. I love that it greets you when you pick it up with a little motivational phrase. It's so cute! It's really tiny, and inconspicuous.

And my favorite part is the sleep-tracking it can do. I love how it tells you if you had a restless night even if you didn't wake up. It has really helped me understand my fatigue a lot better. I keep sleeping well, in theory, and waking up tireder than I went to bed. Now I know why! I dance jigs in my sleep on those nights.

It has been an incredibly useful tool for me. I stopped tracking walking as exercise now, and rely completely on the fitbit to make the adjustments for me in my diary. I even wear it when I exercise, even though I override it with my exercise logs here. It's so great to watch my flower grow! LOL!

I'm debating a fit bit too but just found this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omron-CaloriScan-Professional-Management-Activity/dp/B007G4VRH8/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_1) in a search. It seems to do exactly the same as fitbit bar the sleep function and not sure if it has the online stuff as well.

    Anyone got one of these?

I love my fitbit also. It's a great motivational tool to basically get me off my lazy butt. If my cup is empty I get up to fill it up myself instead of waiting for the hubby to get up and ask him to do it for me. On laundry days we use to have an agreement where I would fold and wash and put away all the clothes but my husband had to take everything down to the basement and carry it all back up... but these days I've been doing it myself instead (extra flights of stairs logged hecks yes!)

The biggest eye opener was I use to think I was pretty "active" at work. Except that the first day I got my fitbit I only logged 1800 steps from 8am-6pm. I had to go home and haul *kitten* on the elliptical to get me up to the goal of 10000!
