I miss eating as much chocolate as I want. But then again, I still eat it in moderation, and I don't miss the belly fat that I lost.

I eat a little bit of everything, though I did enjoy watching an afternoon of football with a bag of Lays ripple chips and dip, and finishing off the entire bag. Now I have a small serving, and an apple.

I'll probably be around a lot longer to enjoy afternoons of football, though.

I miss baking. I have yet to bake up a tasty dessert without several "tastes" throughout the process. And frosting is my healthy eating kryptonite. Little to no portion control if I have a big batch of something in the house.

I eat whatever I want. Just the right portion. No depriving.

I'm on phase 2 of the 17 day diet. I miss carbs. I miss cake, cookies, bread, full-fat cheese, potatoes and rice and all the things that are made with those things. Cheeseburger, fries, ice cream, cupcakes, chips. It's not that I would eat those things all the time. But now I've decided that I "can't" for a set number of days so of course that's all I want. I did this to myself. Stupid self. Back to my chicken and nonfat Greek yogurt...

I second the cheese. Good hard sharp cheddar. Or fresh curds that are still warm and squeek. Yummy!

I still eat cheese sometimes, but I sure miss it. I'm a Wisconsin girl and like cheese. There seems to be a little cheese factory in every city. However, it's just not worth eating because once you have a little you crave more and more.

Like many folks, I eat everything I used to, just in moderation. I guess what I miss is eating those things in ignorant bliss and not even thinking about burning them off or being "better" tomorrow. I'm still fighting off some feelings of guilt when I indulge.

In theory I miss having all the "bad" foods at once--like a cheeseburger, fries, onion rings, and a chocolate malt. But when I actually do that or anything close to it, I feel TERRIBLE afterward. Yesterday, I had half a cheeseburger, no fries, and half a chocolate malt. This was AFTER a 4.5 mile run and I still felt awful for several hours afterward...

I eat mostly everything including smaller portions of sweets that I enjoy, and always include it in my diary. I do have a couple of "trigger" foods ( Trader Joe Maple Cookies and Coffee Ice Cream) that at least for now it's better that i not have them at all. I haven't any idea what it is about these two items. It's some sort of sensory thing -- taste, texture, maybe a positive childhood memory-- I imagine.

The only thing I've given up completely is sodas, and I honestly don't miss them at all, not even my Dr. Pepper. Other goodies I still eat, but in smaller portions, and/or far less often (potato chips, cookies, ice cream, etc).

Cheese here too...there is a great cheese department at my local grocery store- I used to get lost in there, now I cruise right by it.

Donuts too- I ate a donut probably three or four times a week! That's awful! I just love that white frosting though...

Honestly, nothing. I eat what I crave, but in smaller quantities than I used to.
Same. This is why I will eat like this for the rest of my life. It's no diet. It's how I eat. I'm gonna have some chocolate after dinner. :)

I miss my giant amounts of Thai Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice. They don't sell it in small amounts... and yeah... moderation with certain things? Completely impossible for me. :)

Find someone to share with so you can still have some but you'd have to assault the other person to get their half!

I miss rice, bread and potatoes. i firmly believe that moderation is the key to losing weight and don't advocate that people stop eating food groups. The exception to this is when your body can't tolerate something. My blood sugar has continued to escalate over the last year. I have found that it is not possible for me to eat any starch and most fruit without messing up my blood sugar. Dr. says I can't have any more meds at this point so my only choice is to rot or not eat much carbs.

Teriyaki chicken with fried rice from a take-out hibachi restaurant. I used to drown it in white sauce. It was so so good. I don't live near a comparable restaurant anymore, and I am pretty happy about that. I don't even want to know how many calories where in that meal.
