What could be hindering my weight loss?

I eat 2000-2500 cal per day, weigh 198 atm 5'9" 22% bodyfat or so. The extra 500 cal comes on my training days. I lift weights 4 times a week doing a push/pull routine which is pretty intense at about an hour per workout. I do cardio 5 times a week playing intense Racquetball/Tennis which estimates to 1000-1500 cal burned per workout. I seem to lose about .5-1lb a week and very little bodyfat. I feel like Everything but my weight is improving at a fast rate. I can run farther and longer than any of my "skinny" friends and work twice as hard when working out.
Is there anything that could be hindering my bodyfat/weight loss I might be missing? Any common things that someone who doesn't know anything else about me would expect after reading this?

What is your goal? To lose body fat or to lose weight? They are different.
If you are trying to lose body fat while maintaining your weight or build muscle, you have to tailor your diet to reach that goal.0 -
Both, I gain muscle mass slower than bodyfat is lost but you could say I'm cutting atm. I'm kind of trying to keep my muscle while I cut. I eat my bodyweight in Protein more or less assuming I can afford to week to week... ramen, u know.. I'm gaining muscle and losing weight it' just feels incredibly slow when I consider my 1000+ calorie deficit days from workouts for weeks and even before for months.0

Your 1000+ deficit might be your problem. Try shrinking your deficit to no more than 500 per day for the next month and see what happens.0

Try a book called Body 4 Life by Bill Phillips. Base on how you like to workout this book would be great for you. Basically work on the idea of working out 6 days a week with one rest day. mwf=weight training t, th, sat- cardio. Eating six small meal is part of the plan. It's a 87 day workout program. I've done it twice about 5 years ago but did not use protein since I prefer a lean look.0

I think you're eating too much fast food. It is full of salt and fat. As hard as it is to take the time to prepare meals, you really need to cook some lean proteins and add healthy carbs, veggies and fruits to your diet. Eating out will mess you up everytime! Good luck!!!0

Haha, yeah I ran outta food and have been holed up at work or studying. I normally eat fast food once or twice a week, this week is an exception because I haven't really had more than an hour in between my schedule the past 4-5 days. My normal diet isn't that bad although it is mostly frozen foods with one thing package of lean meat a week. I work with what I can afford and it isn't the best but it's hard for me to believe that it's causing that large a problem with me surpassing my deficits by a good amount each week.0
