Losing Inches Vs. Losing Pounds

1. My diary is open.
2. When I first started trying to lose weight I was dropping lbs like crazy! I kind of plateaued a bit and that's when I started learning about different exercises and the benefits of changing up the exercise routine.
I started losing weight again and got to almost 30 lbs down (where I am now) and plateaued again! So, I joined a gym and started taking their classes.
I upped my protein intake to compensate for the extra muscles usage (primarily running to now lifting weights and zumba, etc).
I've started losing inches, but I've completely stopped losing lbs. I now manage between 177 and 180.
Is this "okay"? Will the lbs start coming off again?
Am I doing everything correctly?

losing inches, getting stronger, making better food choices... You're doing A LOT right! I don't know if anybody here is doing EVERYTHING right!
