Hey Everyone, My name is Robyn and I'm 21 years old, I'm 5'1 and 185lbs. I have lost 15 lbs and would like to lose 55 more lbs. I have a 17 month old little girl who is my world and at 21 should not get tired when I run around with her. I have cut calories but find myself hungry. I have hit a plateau and cannot lose more weight. I do walk (well try) every couple of nights. My daughter and I walk about 1 mile (i push her in the stroller of course).....I just need to know if anyone has any suggestions. my goal is to lose the 55 lbs by christmas or shortly after. I do not eat sweets anymore and just want to be healthy!! PLEASE SOMEONE RESPOND!! I'm desperate!!!

Thanks,
Robyn:smile:

You may want to consider increasing your exercise. I know it must be hard with a baby but maybe some at home dvds? There are some really good ones, like jillian micheals the 30 day shred and all the beach body videos. Or try walking farther and farther working your way up and walk fast so that your heart rate gets up... and of course don't give up! Make sure you are drinking a lot of water and don't deprive yourself of those sweets, its ok to have some in moderation just configure them into your calories for the day. Good luck!

  • you need to start running, your body is used to walking (think about it, we as humans walk almost everywhere). Running will deff make that goal happen in no time! Trust me.

Increase the intensity of your workouts. You'll get over the plateau in no time. Good luck!

How many calories are you eating? And are you eating your exercise calories too?

I agree!!! And if you can't do that try increasing the number of workouts - can you try to fit a nightly walk in?
  • Thank you to everyone for the support and feedback!!! I am going to try to increase my work out to 2 miles everday. It gets very "routine" which is good and bad!!! I will try to get the videos and see how that works. I had the big bounce ball that people train on but didnt have success with it. You guys are all amazing people!!!! Thank you!!!

I agree. Increase your exercise, be sure you're eating food as healthy as you can & don't skip meals or calories.

I was driving the other day and saw a lady jogging while pushing her stroller.

Now, I'm not sure of the strollers out there now a days, since I have no kids.
But this stroller had approx 14" wheels?

So, perhaps, walk with the stroller, and every now and then get a little jog in there to get the heartrate up.
