Free weights and resistance bands.0

Exercise DVDs and Wii Active 2. I like these way better than going to the gym.0

Wii Fit Active! It comes with a stretch band and includes strength training and cardio. And it's fun! It helped me lose 30 lbs about 3 years ago. Hmmm... need to get back to it!0

A set of resistance bands can be surprisingly useful, especially if you know how to do strength-training exercises. I mostly just do push-ups and squats, but the only way I can work my back is to do rows and pull-downs with resistance bands.
A man may find them not enough resistance, but I don't have that problem. My bands use clips and handles and a door-stop-thingy, and if I use more than one band at a time, they can be pretty strong/heavy.0 -

check it out. Short, effective, HIIT workouts that hardcore build strength0 -
I have a multi-gym weight machine and power tower at home (so much for getting the car in the garage.....). If I was shopping again I'd get a decent bench & free weights rather than the mufti-gym.0

P90x.
^^^^^ This and P90x2 and Insanity...
(Also have a Smith machine to suppliment strength moves)0 -
I have kettlebell's, bosu ball, and a jump rope. I do lunges and squats. If I do not know how to do something or if I want to find a new exercise I surf youtube and watch that. I have a gym membership but only use sometimes. I just got Insanity last night and that is my next challenge0

I follow the Chalean Extreme Program.
Or you can look for Jamie Eason's program at http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-easons-livefit-phase-1.html . She has a great program as well...0 -
I love this website:

Most of the exercises detailed require minimal or no equipment, and can be adapted based on what you have available.
Stephyshoes I love you! This is a great link! I've never done strength training before because i thought of myself as "strong enough" - but I feel now that it's a great way for me to move towards a healthier body.0 -
I have a bunch of free weights at home. It can be expensive to buy them, but once you have them, you can use them forever. I have weights that range in size from 2lbs(which I never use) to 20lbs. Free weights are better than machines anyway.0

I do yoga and walk. I guess the yoga could count as a gym for me because I pay for it. I don't thnk you need a gym to build muscle or to lose weight. There are lots of options on TV. You can even get dvd's at the library:-)0
